  • Upper World
rdfs:comment
  • The Upper World is the world in which Eric Hinkle, Julie Rubin and Neal Kroger reside. It is the regular world and is only linked to Droon through two staircases, the Rainbow Staircase and the Dark Staircase; and the Fifth River. It is the birthplace of Galen Longbeard, Lord Sparr and Urik and the homeworld of Queen Zara. Zara and Sparr were kidnapped from this world by Emperor Ko and taken into Goll where Zara died and Sparr turned towards Ko. Later on it was where the Coiled Viper was hidden. Magic once existed in this world but was taken-ed by the Princess of Shadowthorn and her goblins 500 years ago in her time traveling city Pesh.
  • The Upper World is the surface of the Earth, where all living creatures are. Nocturna inhabits this realm, but cannot directly interact with it. If a dead creature manages to escape from the Underworld to the Upper world, they will somehow reappear as a Spirit, that has the ability to observe and become anything, but cannot interact with the living world at all. This happened to Shade Silverwing at the end of the book Firewing,
