| abstract | - Bud Farrell is a former NASCAR driver from Red Bank, NJ. He competed in eleven Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning four top-tens. Farrell's debut came in 1951, when a solid five-race schedule put him 48th in points. Farrell left a quick impression in his first start, driving all the way through a deep field at Pittsburgh to finish a career-best 4th place. He also ran well the rest of the year, finishing no worse than 21st and also putting his machine in the top-twelve twice more: an 8th at Columbia Speedway and a 12th at Langhorne. Farrell's final six races came in the 1952 season, when he improved to 39th in the final standings. He again started his year off well, recording a 9th at Langhorne and an 8th at Toledo in his first three starts of the year. He also tacked on two more top-twenty finishes, including a 15th at Langhorne in his final career start.
