  • A ferry is a form of transport, usually a boat or ship, used to carry (or ferry) passengers and their vehicles across a body of water. Ferries are also used to transport freight. Most ferries operate on regular, frequent, return services. Such ferry services are offered in many parts of Koridan and other countries on Elara. A notable Koridian ferry is the one crossing Brightwater Bay from Stin to Brightwater, and back again.
  • The Ferry is a transport form in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
  • A ferry is a vehicle that allow for pedestrian passengers to get on the ship, as well as cars in the case of car and passenger ferries. This vehicle was first introduced in the Rush Hour expansion of SimCity 4, and they can be unlocked after constructing a ferry terminal, although note that there must be at least two terminals in order for Sims to use the service.
  • La tarification et l'organisation du ferry sont gérées par la société Inter-îles Ferry. * Depuis l'île de la Citadelle : 10 Kashes * Depuis l'île du Désert de la Feuille Blanche : 12 Kashes
  • A sytem of ferries connections all colonized islands in the same archipelago. The ferries are available through the island's dock. Travelling via a ferry is instantaneous. At the present time, there is no fee to use a ferry.
  • A Ferry or a Taxi is a person who agrees to transport lower-level characters to map locations that those characters have not yet unlocked. This is distinct from a Runner, who will take people to areas of the game they could physically reach, but which cross difficult terrain with powerful monsters. A ferry, by contrast, simply creates a party with the other characters in it, then map travels to the location in question. The entire party, including the "locked" characters, end up in the new location.
  • A ferry is set up when a transport is specifically instructed to move along a certain waypath, designated by the ferry icon. A transport with a ferry associated with it will move land-based units from the starting point to the final drop point of the path. At that point, the ferry will return to the starting point by retracing its initial path. You may assign additional transports to the route by ordering them to assist the transport used to create the route. Select the additional transports, and right click the original ferry transport.

A ferry, by contrast, simply creates a party with the other characters in it, then map travels to the location in question. The entire party, including the "locked" characters, end up in the new location. Note that ferries only work in certain areas of the game. In most cases, if a player has not unlocked a location and the party leader tries to map travel there, the other player will simply be booted out of the party.
  • A ferry is set up when a transport is specifically instructed to move along a certain waypath, designated by the ferry icon. A transport with a ferry associated with it will move land-based units from the starting point to the final drop point of the path. At that point, the ferry will return to the starting point by retracing its initial path. To set up a ferry route, move a transport aircraft to the point where you would like the route to begin, and select the ferry command. While holding shift, click the ground to create a series of waypoints. The last waypoint will be the ferry's drop off point. Once you have set the first waypoint, a ferry icon should appear on the ground beneath your transport aircraft. It will remain there until the transport is assigned to another task or destroyed. To order units to board the ferry, select them and then right click on this icon as if issuing a move command. Optionally, you may set this icon as the rally point for one or more factories, and new units will automatically be ferried to the end of the route. You may assign additional transports to the route by ordering them to assist the transport used to create the route. Select the additional transports, and right click the original ferry transport.
