  • Eldin Rollers are creatures from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. They can be found throughout Eldin Volcano. Eldin Rollers are found either free-roam or by digging up certain spots with the Digging Mitts. When left alone they will aimlessly meander, but when approached or startled they skitter around quickly and change direction randomly. They are also prone to death by being crushed or by running into a pit or lava. Link must move slowly with the Bug Net to catch them. If Link disturbs them too much without catching them, they will fly away, leaving their ball behind.

Like the other insects in the game, Eldin Rollers are a Potion Infusion component, used by Bertie to upgrade the stock potions Luv sells at the Skyloft Bazaar. Rollers are one ingredient in the Guardian Potion and the second stage of the Heart Potion upgrades. Strich will buy Link's excess Rollers for 40 Rupees each at night, in his room at the Knight Academy. Interestingly, Link nabs the "unidentified material" with the insect, rather than just the creature itself.
