| abstract | - This story was originally supposed to be a personal adaptation of a Mystery Dungeon adventure. A young boy named Rick was transported to the pokemon world by Mewtwo, turned into a Squirtle and stripped of his memory as a test subject to see if the world could be populated by human turned pokemon. Rick was then told by Mewtwo that if he wanted his memories back, he'd have to travel the world and get them back himself. Only after taking three steps did Rick run into two other pokemon. A Raichu and Pikachu named Jon and JJ respectively. The pikachu being the younger of the two was immediately frightened by the Squirtle, this caused Jon to begin a short but furious battle against Rick. Just as Jon is about to deliver the final blow, another competitor steps in and saves Ricks life. In return the new ally a Ninetails named Winter convinces Jon and JJ to help train Rick on his travels. As the group progresses they run into a human trainer named Rachel who challenges Rick to a pokemon battle which he quickly declines and decides instead to help a Chatot who is wounded and stuck in a tree. After befriending the female Chatot, the group continued along with Rachel and her pokemon into the nearest city in the Sinnoh region. It was at this point in the story where the creator hit writers block, and subsequently the story was cut short.
