The second basement code is only able to be found if you are less than level 3 in your mechanical skill. You have to read the book on mechanical skill from the first floor bedroom to get it. If you cannot read the book because you have more than level 3 mechanical you can come back with a family member who is less than level 3 or just cheat and use the codes. They are always the same. The third basement code you get if you turn on the stereo (first off then back on if it was already on). The rooms are shaped like an old push button telephone, so you enter the code the same way the you would on a phone:1 2 34 5 67 8 9
