  • Back slots changes in August, 2006 Let's all help state Sen. Jane Orie and others who want to close the loopholes in the slots law ("More Legislators Calling for Changes in Slots Law," Aug. 3). We do not need middleman slot machine suppliers. All this does is create corruption and nepotism, which has already started. The loopholes also allow our elected officials to own up to 1 percent of a casino company. Let's throw out the garbage ... it stinks. Call or write your legislator and tell him or her we will not stand for it. Lots of luck to Sen. Orie. Mary Cozzo, Stowe
