- The Mechanism is an object only mentioned by Pox in the Destroy All Humans! 2 Mission "I Left My Parts In San Fran- Err Bay City". Before taking on this mission, Crypto has the option to make "Small Talk" with Pox in the conversation menu. It occurred to Crypto that, "Who's running the White House while he's been away? Hasn't anyone noticed that the President is missing?" Pox explains that he wasn't always one to put in long hours at the Oval Office, so he devised a mechanism, presumably a simple statue, which smiles, waves, and occasionally sputters out patriotic speeches. Crypto jokingly thinks the "monkeys" won't notice, but ironically, Pox explains that his approval rating has tripled after the switch was made. The mechanism is never mentioned again.
- Play Tips: Extremely cheap artifact; good for lowering Omnitron play cost. Pay particular attention to it's support zone placing to get max benefits.
