It was composed of four elite squadrons, and was known for having some of the most skilled pilots in the Empire. More aces came from the Scimitar Wing than any other Imperial unit, except perhaps the 181st Imperial Fighter Wing. It's headquarters was a warship called the Tyrant, a Bellator-class dreadnaught.
