rdfs:comment | - "Poptunes" is a song by British indie pop band The Seymours. It was released on December 6, 2007 and peaked at #1 in the UK charts. The title is a reference to the Public Image Ltd. song "Poptones". The b-side "Anorexic Beauty" was demoed during the Seymours sessions but never made it further than the version presented here, tenderly sung by guitarist Mat Gilbert and bassist Twiggy Pop. "Rubber Band" is a more experimental track in the vein of the songs featured on The Holocaust EP.

"Rubber Band" is a more experimental track in the vein of the songs featured on The Holocaust EP. "Poptunes" is, along with "Stylorouge", The Seymours' most successful single chart-wise. It reached #1 in the UK and Canada and #3 in the US while landing somewhere among the top twenty in other regions. It also peaked at #1 in the World charts, a first for the band. The Japanese reissue was released a week after the original single and omitted the b-sides in favour for live tracks recorded at Midwinter Mashfest. These remain the only official live tracks ever released by The Seymours.
