The second consideration took the commander's view to the old, underfunded, and next to forgotten Soviet space program, including their cosmonauts. Bearing that in mind, the Commander brought the project under his command and thus the cosmonaut come back on line. Soviet Cosmonauts are equipped with all the necessary life support equipment to survive outside Earth's atmosphere and a jet pack not unlike those used by Allied Rocketeers, which allows them to travel very quickly around the battlefield. They are equipped with a high-powered laser, making them very effective against other cosmonauts and light vehicles, as well as (in groups of five or more) armoured tanks, aircraft (or space craft) and structures. The colour of the beam is determined by the faction the cosmonaut belongs to (i.e. red for Soviets, purple for Yuri). They are vulnerable to any anti-aircraft weaponry. In large numbers, though, they are more than capable of turning any attack force or base to dust in a matter of seconds. A cosmonaut costs 600 credits to train, same as the Allied Rocketeer.

He needs your help to bring him the supplies he needs to complete his work. To complete a Cosmonaut quest you will need to restock the item he asks for within the time limit, return here and give it to him. Restocking an item means that you will need to spy on the main shop in Marada where these items sell, wait for it to be in stock and buy it. If you purchase it in time, return here and give it to the Cosmonaut. He will take your item and reward you with a prize of MP, Dip or maybe an Enchanted Dip. You can dip your pet into one of these Enchanted Dips and it will change into a random colour. The pet species and dip need to match, for example, you can only dip a Rofling into an Enchanted Rofling Dip. They then turn into normal dip items which are Gourmet Food.
