  • Bing Cherry Sauce 2 T. butter 1 shallot, diced 1 clove garlic, minced 3 cans Bing cherries, drained (15 oz. each) 2 T. sugar 2 T. cherry flavored brandy 1 T. orange flavored liqueur In a medium pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add shallot and garlic and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until tender. Stir in cherries, sugar, brandy and orange flavored liqueur. Cook, stirring frequently, for 10 to 12 minutes or until thickened. Let cool completely Spoon sauce into airtight containers. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week. Makes about 3 cups. Source: Paula Deen
