  • Blue Style
rdfs:comment
  • The Blue Style of forging was one of the earliest techniques for Letherii steel. In some ways, the Blue Style produced finer steel than present Letherii methods. However, these swords had drawbacks in other areas, according to Kuru Qan. Swords forged using the Blue Style were very flexible, almost unbreakable although the blade would produce a strange, persistent sound when it touched other weapons. Depending on where the blade struck, the note was unique, although each would eventually descend or ascend to the core’s own voice.

The blades were typically bluish in colour, leading to the technique's name.
