| abstract | - Devros was a blue-skinned Kree, a warlike alien species from Marvel comics - however he was exceptionally racist, even by Kree standards and believed blue-skinned Krees were superior to all others. This wouldn't stop Devros from betraying his entire team however when the Brood attacked their vessel and he willingly allowed himself to be infected with a Brood egg, falling in love with an unknown Brood Queen. Completely insane, Devros believed the Brood were a blessing and destined to further evolve the blue-skinned Kree and ensure victory - to this end he helped the Brood to infect numerous other Kree and named himself the "Brood King" (a rare occurance as the Brood are a matriarchial society).
