When purchasing the lunarfury outfit, the player is awarded Runecrafting experience per override. The experience awarded is 20,000 for the helmet, chest, legs and weapons; 10,000 for the gloves and boots; and 25,000 for the cape. As long as one piece of the override set is activated while training Runecrafting or Mining, fortification points will be added toward the upgrade cost. 50 points are awarded after every 5 minutes of training. 35,000 fortification points are required to upgrade the set to Lunarfury Tier 2. Mining a Shooting Star does not award points. Gaining points prompts the message Your Lunarfury armour has become more fortified - [X]/35,000.
