Naida Aleksashkin was the Governor-General of New Englia and the sixth foreign born individual to hold the position. Aleksashin served as the Governor of Aula Province and as a member of the Aula House of Delegates before being elected as Governor-General. She was known for her strong position as a fiscal conservative and like her conservative predecessors before her, continued the policies of low taxes, limioted government and limited regulation. Aleksashkin's biggest accomplishment was the passage of the Federal Highway System Act which she cited as "New Englia's way to the future." She would however, not get the chance to sign the bill into law as she was killed a mere 14 days after being inaugurated for a 3rd term in office on April 15, 2990 during the Peter Lucas Day Terrorist Attacks. She along with Vice-General Anna Blackwell and Speaker of the Assembly Eddie Fitzhugh were on there way to an event to honor Peter Lucas and during takeoff, the plane was shot down by a rocket killing her, Vice-General Blackwell, Speaker of the Assembly Fitzhugh and the two pilots. Her body wasn't recovered and she is instead memorialized at Lucas National Cemetary.
