Revan supposedly saw Yoon as being of vital importance to the stability of the Galactic Republic. Mimas Yoon was a male Human who was native to Corellia, a highly prosperous and important Core World. He was elected Senator of Corellia during the Mandalorian Wars and was continually re-elected by the people of Corellia through the beginning stages of the Jedi Civil War, and, along with Stereb Senator Lelin-Der, was key to getting the Jedi Order to commit its full weight against Darth Revan's Sith Empire. As such, Mimas Yoon was a highly important member of the Senate. In the early years of the Jedi Civil War, Mimas Yoon, along with Cressa, the Senator from Commenor, and Lelin-Der, the senator from Serreco, prepared to run for the highly prestigious post of Supreme Chancellor.
