Treasure Chest Treasure Chest Treasure Chest Treasure chest
rdfs:comment
Received as a reward from Postonby for the quest Postbox of Love, in Castele Square. Top-Quality Treasure Chest requested by Sami for the quest A Chest for My Treasures, in Port Puerto Marina.__NOEDITSECTION__ Once opened/destroyed, the chest yields a small collection of low-level items, costume pieces or consumables. The Treasure Chest was a limited time premium decoration released on September 4, 2014 during the Clash of Clones 2014 Event. This decoration was not released in the initial event but was still part of the event items. It looks very similar to the Chest of Sacred Artifacts. Treasure Chests are items found in LEGO Universe that allow players to acquire rewards. Treasure Chests come in three types: normal chests, pink shells and fruits of Konohana. The pink shells being found in underwater locations around Ryoshima Coast and Konohana's fruits appears on Konohana every time a Guardian Sapling is revived. Some Treasure chests are exposed and ready for opening straight away but others will only appear after certain tasks have been completed, such as clearing a Devil gate or clearing a small cursed patch of ground. The following Treasure trail rewards cannot be stored: * Gnomish firelighters * God pages (also known as Torn pages) * Purple sweets * Third age armour * Other common items that may be found elsewhere You cannot store item sets from the Grand Exchange in the treasure chest even if all of the components can be stored within the treasure chest. Treasure Chests are non-craftable storage containers randomly spawning / appearing in darkness in a certain radius around player characters throughout the world, filled with random materials, items or blocks, sometimes with rare crafting-Recipes inside. Pet accessories like Hats and Bow Ties as well as Perfumes can solely be found inside of Treasure chests, while Notes and Data Chips can rarely also be obtained from Keepas of any kind. Still specific blocks will also make specific creatures spawn on them, and some of them might be aggressive... Ever since before (presumably) and after the Seven Great Monsters appeared, the sea floors of the Seven Seas have been filled with a large number of shipwrecks that are rich of treasures. In addition, some of these treasures are either scattered within the seas or embedded or hidden in structures and other natural formations, such as underwater ruins and icebergs. A Treasure Chest, or simply chest, is a gameplay mechanic common to role-playing games. They are typically much-sought objects that contain precious items. Chests can come in a multitude of shapes and sizes, and may carry extremely different contents from one to another. For instance, you might find a healing potion in one, or a piece of equipment in another. Some chests may even be booby-trapped, or summon monsters when opened. Treasure Chest is a building in the The Cania Fields. Not to be confused with the monster of a similar name Treasure, or the Chest rewards from Treasure Hunts. When a chest is opened you will randomly receive either a single treasure item, which will be placed in your treasure pool; some gil, which will be split amongst your party; or a key item, which can only be obtained by the character that opens the chest. Treasure items can include gems, armor, weapons, quest items; which will only be obtained if the quest is active, and maps; which can only be obtained once. Quest items take first priority when receiving items, with maps taking next-highest priority, and all other items taking last priority. Treasure Chests are recurring objects in the Legend of Zelda series which house items and are sometimes locked. The boxes differ in color and garnishment depending on their contents and in which game they appear. They contain many things, ranging from Rupees to Pieces of Heart and so forth. In several games, they are the main or sole provider for Link's necessary equipment, such as Hookshots or Bows. On the website and in game, you can watch your current amount of chests. Unlike presumed, you have to pay 499 Funds for a key in order to open them. For this reason they are very similar to the Supply Drops, but with a different content loadout and chances. It contains rare items like the colour changing dragons or limited time items. Before Alien theme started, Treasure chests gained a huge item cleanup, but these items were replaced with Robotic, Agent and Space themed items inside. This Clean-up have been announced as release-specific than, and before every release, new items are subsequently given and cleared up. A treasure chest is a recurring element in Dragon Quest games as well as most role-playing games. It appears in various locations throughout the games and often contains an item or gold which the player receives upon opening the chest. Beginning in Dragon Quest III some chests are traps which contain enemies such as a Cannibox. Generally, treasure chests are used to distribute items throughout the locations in each game. The Treasure Chest is a furniture item that is sold at Horrods in Moshi Monsters. In The Lost Frontier, the chests contained either armor or Gunstaff upgrades, the brown chests being the former and the blue the latter. They would remain closed and surrounded by a golden aura until Jak approached and opened one with , at which point it would open and the aura would disappear, exposing the chest's contents as Jak reached into it. Also unlike those in The Precursor Legacy, the chests appeared to be made entirely of metal, with either copper or bronze decorations and a keylock on the front. Every time you open one, you'll find Black Market items and Equus. You may also find diamonds and aging points. If you're lucky, you may even hit one of the three jackpots: * 1,000 passes * 1 000 000 Equus * 1,000 aging points (c) Howrse Costs about 10/12 Passes if it is in the Black Market. Also can be obtained through the Lottery Promo. Treasure chests appear throughout the games, and various items can be found inside, ranging from healing items to ammo and even weapons. In later games, they may contain treasures, as well. In Resident Evil 5, opening some treasure chests can also trigger the activation of traps. In the Mercenaries mini-game of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, treasure chests contain a "Bonus Time" hourglass - an item which provides a certain amount of time in which to kill enemies to achieve larger scores. They're also present in Resident Evil 6, they contain Skill Points as well as ammo and healing items. In Maximo vs. Army of Zin, some chests are locked and require a Key to be opened. !Fixed Trophies !Random Trophies !Loot Tier |- |align=center| File:Baron's Amulet of Life Giving Icon.png |align=center|None |align=center|3 |} 1. Characters who approach a chest will make it open automatically, dispensing various contents; these contents will generally consist of patches for improving stats in the mode, but trophies, Custom Parts, Equipment, and items can also be dispensed from chests. The number of chests varies on the match, with some matches having more than others; certain events can also potentially cause more chests to spawn on the map, point out the location of chests that the player has missed, or increase the rewards dispensed by chests. __NOEDITSECTION__ __NOWYSIWYG__ In The Lost Frontier, the chests contained either armor or Gunstaff upgrades, the brown chests being the former and the blue the latter. They would remain closed and surrounded by a golden aura until Jak approached and opened one with , at which point it would open and the aura would disappear, exposing the chest's contents as Jak reached into it. For the armor, a sound of Jak fitting in the armor will sound as the screen goes black before panning towards Jak, showing him clad in his new armor. For the gunstaff upgrades, the gunstaff will appear on Jak's back (the only time this occurs in-game), switching to the respective mod, before Jak grabs the mod, takes the gunstaff off his back, and attaches the mod. Afterwards, the chest can still be seen upon returning to the area at any point in the game, and unlike those in The Precursor Legacy were indestructible. Also unlike those in The Precursor Legacy, the chests appeared to be made entirely of metal, with either copper or bronze decorations and a keylock on the front. Destructible treasure chests can be forced open and their contents appropriated. Low-level chests provide 75 gold when destroyed. Higher-level chests may provide more. The keys are further used as reward for competitions in form of redeem codes or are even given out as Reward. During Halloween 2012 there's been a Bundle of keys on discount. Another time they landed as Deal of the Day and were announced to be part of the The Claw at some time. The Key Bundles have been since unknown time than keeped. Bundles are at 10, 25 and 50 keys, each with specific base discount. A Treasure Chest is one of the many objects found in Smash Run. Characters who approach a chest will make it open automatically, dispensing various contents; these contents will generally consist of patches for improving stats in the mode, but trophies, Custom Parts, Equipment, and items can also be dispensed from chests. Chests can be found all over the Smash Run's map, and they can also be found behind doors when challenges are completed. Opening a chest will leave it open for the rest of the match; while its contents will not disappear in challenge rooms, they will disappear after a few seconds in the overworld's map. The number of chests varies on the match, with some matches having more than others; certain events can also potentially cause more chests to spawn on the map, point out the location of chests that the player has missed, or increase the rewards dispensed by chests. The uncommon enemy Mimicutie also disguises itself as a regular chest before it attacks players; approaching a Mimicutie disguised as a chest will cause it to get up and attack players. The Treasure Chest was an item in KQ3. Once opened/destroyed, the chest yields a small collection of low-level items, costume pieces or consumables. The Treasure Chest was a limited time premium decoration released on September 4, 2014 during the Clash of Clones 2014 Event. This decoration was not released in the initial event but was still part of the event items. It looks very similar to the Chest of Sacred Artifacts. Sunken box, Ancient locker, and Antediluvian chest are available by Treasure Hauling or defeating citadels in Atlantis outposts. Upon booty division, the container will be "opened" and its contents will be split among the crew based on their puzzle performance. Additionally, a large percentage of the treasure chests will be reserved for the ship's deed holder. * Sunken boxes are the most common and contain the lowest valued items. * Ancient lockers will provide slightly better items, but are more difficult to obtain. * Antediluvian chests are rare, but will hold the highest-quality items. Items that are unique to Atlantis will be in "new" condition. This includes Atlantean furniture as well as clothing with an atlantean color. Regular furniture has only 50 decay points instead of the usual 100. All other items, including broken bottles have only 10 days left before turning to dust or rags. Date Available: January 20, 2010 Treasure Chests are worth $2000. It has the highest currency value in Adventure Mode. There are two ways to get Treasure Chests. A lot of Treasure Chests can only be found at night. They are distinguished by a white beam of light shining on them (instead of Clover green). They will be buried in the ground so Amaterasu must dig them up. However these chests can be found during daytime, if she knows what to look out for. Looking carefully, Amaterasu will see a small golden handle sticking out of the ground. Most of them will be hidden in the middle of a triangle of grass clumps. Chests that are out of reach, such as being on an above ledge or underwater must be Power Slashed to open. Underwater treasures will always float to the top of the water, however if they are not collected in time they will return to their chests. The same goes for overhead treasures, however they will not always fall to the ground and a Golden Lucky Cat will not draw them in. Treasure Chests are items found in LEGO Universe that allow players to acquire rewards. The treasure chest is an adventure map object found in all Heroes of Might and Magic games. It contains a varying amount of gold. When picked up by a hero, they can either keep the gold, or give it away for experience. The amount gained can be: * 1000 gold or 500 XP * 1500 gold or 1000 XP * 2000 gold or 1500 XP Sometimes, there's an artifact or other reward in the chest instead of gold. Treasure Chest is a building in the The Cania Fields. Not to be confused with the monster of a similar name Treasure, or the Chest rewards from Treasure Hunts. They are usually depicted as being red or brown boxes with a gold trim. Special caution should be used when opening chests: they cannot be opened while invisible or weakened, and successful opening of a chest will remove sneak and deodorize effects, possibly causing aggression from nearby monsters. Since the December 2008 update, treasure chests will always reappear approximately five minutes after being opened. However, whenever a chest is opened to obtain gil or treasure items, all chests in the area will be reserved for artifact armor and key items for approximately one hour. Attempting to open a chest for other types of treasure during this period will cause the chest to disappear with the message "The chest was but an illusion." (The treasure key that was used will not be lost if this happens). The Treasure Chest is a furniture item that is sold at Horrods in Moshi Monsters. __NOEDITSECTION__ Every time you open one, you'll find Black Market items and Equus. "Treasure Chest" is the song all about the treasure that Captain Feathersword buried a long time ago. A second variety, the Risky Treasure, is blue instead of the usual beige. Instead of receiving an item, opening a Risky Treasure causes a status effect to strike the character who opens it. On a positive note, this also yields a free Fortune Wire. The possible effects are: * The Death (reduced to critical HP) * Critical (critical damage from an explosion) * Poison Gas * Paralyzing Gas * Sleep Gas * Curse * Level down to 1 (Legend of the Twilight anime only) Using a Fortune Wire on a Risky Treasure will transform it into an ordinary Treasure Chest, sometimes containing a more valuable item than usual. As soon as you have looted these chests, they will disappear. You cannot put anything into them and will not receive the chest itself when taking "everything". The type of chest and such the general quality of its contents varies depending on the kind of blocks it will spawn on - for example Wood Treasure Chests only spawn on surface-blocks like Grass or (Tree-) Leaves, while Stone Treasure Chests will only spawn on natural blocks/rocks from the Fossil layer. Currently (R25 in November 2015) all Treasure Chests can only spawn in darkness, which means neither under direct sunlight during the day nor in areas lit by artificial lighting placed by the player/s. Exceptions are natural blocks with a faint glow like Hardened Lava, Wildwood Flowers or Glowing Mushrooms (non-placeable) that will usually not prevent chests from spawning nearby. While all chests spawn in darkness only, Wood Treasure Chests additionally to that will only spawn during night-times (since R23), not during the day any longer, no matter how dark their surrounding is. Treasure Chests seem to spawn as soon as the player comes into range of "view" (not meaning direct line of sight), but it might take a little time for them to appear. So wandering at night or teleporting into a dark area and then strolling around a bit can be a good strategy to "farm" Treasure Chests (chests might even spawn behind the player-character then). Still these chests will generally spawn only sparsely and not every night. Chests spawn the best at nightfall. Placing a bed during the day into any biome and going to sleep will make the player-character wake up at nightfall and perhaps then treasure chests can already be spotted that might have spawned or will start to spawn close by. Treasure Chests will not vanish when the sun sets or light is being placed close to them. But unlooted Treasures Chests will be gone for good if the player character wanders off out of sight. Half-looted Treasure Chests will prevail a little longer, but will vanish too if the player/s don't return to them within a short while. Revisiting an area too soon (like per teleporting in and out, in and out again or running across a certain area repeatedly) will usually not make more/new chests spawn there; it might even be necessary to wait a whole day-circle until new chests will spawn. However sometimes this kind of procedure might make creatures in this area vanish and not respawn again. All Treasure Chests open to the north, so their glow is best visible when looking at them from the north towards the south. It also means that one could occasionally miss a chest in complete darkness when looking to the north. Treasure Chests can only spawn on solid blocks, even on tree-tops, but not in fluids/liquids. They will not trade places with other blocks. However they need only 1 block of empty space to spawn, so it can actually happen that they will spawn in a tiny hole surrounded by rocks. Players can make chests of different quality spawn in artificial biomes/arenas/farms/spawners built of specific natural blocks as a floor (preferable with walls and a ceiling too to provide darkness, so chests can also spawn during daytime, except for wood treasure chests). It does not matter at which altitude of the world these farms/arenas are built, or in which natural biome, as long as a certain number of blocks is used (a 16x16 plane is recommended at least). Still specific blocks will also make specific creatures spawn on them, and some of them might be aggressive... In Maximo vs. Army of Zin, some chests are locked and require a Key to be opened. Unlike the hunters, who seek and hunt the Seven Great Monsters and common marine predators, many divers would seek out for these treasure chests whenever they have the chance. Unfortunately, this leaves them more vulnerable than the hunters to the sharks and other dangers. It is a wooden treasure chest with golden bands. According to its description, this was one of the treasure chests that Sly Cooper had to collect in the job "Treasure in the Depths" while fending off Raleigh's crabs. Group Loyalty enemies almost always drop a Silver chest when their last member is killed, with a low chance of dropping a Gold chest instead. Quest exclusive minor enemies always drop a Silver chest. Unique Monsters always drop Gold chests, except the Conflagrant Raxeal which always drops a Silver chest. Two of Riki's skills also increase the drop rate of Gold/Silver chests. Lucky Me! improves the drop rate of Silver chests, while Dream of Money improves the drop rate of Gold chests. These skills can also be equipped on other characters, if they have the appropriate affinity. Most enemies can drop two different materials, one common and one uncommon. Both types of material can appear in a Wood chest. The uncommon material tends to appear more often in Silver or Gold chests. Treasure chests do not disappear if they remain unopened when you leave the area, but there is a limit of 20 treasure chests that can exist in the game at one time. After this point any new chests dropped will cause the oldest ones to disappear. The contents of a treasure chest are not determined until it is opened. This allows the player to save and reload to try to get the desired items once the chest has dropped. Through mild, non-exhaustive testing, the contents appear to be selected based on the time elapsed since the chest appeared; if a chest is opened at the exact moment on one reload as a previous one, it will contain the exact same items.
