Although she appears to be the ultimate evil, Veran is nothing more than a loyal servant to Twinrova, dedicated to bringing about the Dark Lord Ganon's revival by bringing sorrow to the hearts of everyone in Labrynna. At the beginning of Link's adventure, Veran has possessed Impa. Using her body, she tricks Link into pushing a Triforce-marked rock, whose holy symbol had been deterring her, out of the way. She then reveals herself to be Veran and possesses Nayru. She uses Nayru's powers to go back in time and become Queen Ambi's most trusted advisor. Veran then convinces the queen to have the people of Labrynna work constantly on the Black Tower, a tower Ambi ordered built in order to guide her lost love home from the sea. In doing so, Veran twists the project towards her own ends, having it slowly become an object of evil rather than love. Veran, la Hechicera de las Sombras (ベラン 闇の司祭, Beran Yami no Shisai ?, Veran Sorceress of Shadows en inglés) es la principal antagonista de The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. Veran, the Sorceress of Shadows, is a fictional character in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda franchise and the primary antagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. She, like Onox, is being used by Twinrova to fill the land of Labrynna with sorrow. She succeeds in her goal by possessing Nayru, the Oracle of Ages, and later, Queen Ambi. Even though Link defeats her, her purpose is still fulfilled, allowing a much greater evil to rise. Veran is the antagonist of Oracle of Ages. She is the Sorceress of Shadows and has the ability to possess anybody she wishes. Although she appears to be the ultimate evil, Veran is nothing more than a loyal servant to Twinrova, dedicated to bringing about the Dark Lord Ganon's revival by bringing sorrow to the hearts of everyone in Labrynna. His trader train, left there children at Crom Hold, while they traves up to Camp Natalon which brought Terregar and after the marriage of Silstra and they folllowed trader tradition of staying in their own place in the train, they were transported back to the smithcrafthall in Telgar Hold. Veran was born on Areltsi into a rare dark greened skin line. Were he born a hundred years ago, his skin color would have been a detriment as the light green Areltsi would have dominated him. But, starting in 30 BBY, a cultural revolution placed emphasis on the minorities of dark green and pure white Areltsi. Due to his skin color, he was able to acquire many scholarships and assistance into the top schools and military positions. Throughout his career, he was known as a cautious and methodical commander who took few risks but had a tendency to do well in war games, simulators, and in actual combat. Veran fought as a common ensign in the War of the Areltsi Coalition against the Nulvarl Empire. Though Areltsi and the Coalition lost, he was spared any retribution due to his low rank and was absorbed into the military power under Jorell. Under Nulvarl dominance, he managed to work his way up to he rank of ship captain of a small frigate. Nulvarl prejudice against Areltsi prevented him from gaining any higher position despite being a competent leader and sound tactician. When the Ni'novian Empire defeated the Nulvarl Empire in 38 ABY, he was able to quickly climb in prominence in the Nymean Ascendancy. When Areltsi was selected as the capital, he was given even more notice. Before long, he was in command of a heavy Areltsi battlecruiser and had a small task force to escort him. In 44 ABY, shortly before the Galactic Alliance surprise attacks that started the Galaxial War, he was placed in command of the Third Nymean Fleet and given the Ironshield as his flagship. He fought in several minor skirmishes against the Galactic Alliance, but was kept in a defensive position and did not participate in any major battles. He was part of the task force sent to help uproot Nefarious for the Obsidian Union and did well in the fights there. In the Vagaari War, he managed to partake in a larger battle that saw the destruction of several Vagaari ships. When the Galactic Alliance issued demands on Sal Maro to surrender the Jedi it was supporting, the Nymean Council of El'iadar ordered him to prepare a task force to protect their allies. He was about to depart when the eccentric leader of the Ascendancy, Eliana showed up and took command. Though he had his reservations regarding the young Chiss woman, she allowed him to oversee the major commands of the fleet while focusing herself on communicating with their Sal Maroian allies. Veran was killed in the Battle of Sal Maro when a Galactic Alliance barrage heavily damaged the Ironshield and the bridge took a hit. Veran is the main antagonist of Legend Of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. She is the Sorceress of Shadows and possesses the ability to possess anybody she wishes to. Although she appears to be the ultimate evil, Veran is nothing more than a loyal servant to Ganondorf, dedicated to bringing about the Dark Lord Ganon's revival by bringing sorrow to the hearts of everything in Hyrule. She is a Demon Fairy. Veran, the Sorceress of Shadows, is the primary antagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. She, like General Onox, is being used by Koume and Kotake to fill the land of Labrynna with sorrow. She succeeds in her goal by possessing Nayru, the Oracle of Ages, and later, Queen Ambi. Even though Link defeats her, her purpose is still fulfilled, enabling the resurrection of Ganon. Link eventually confronts Veran midway through his journey, using Mystery Seeds against her, which Veran previously admitted to having an adversion to. After he exorcizes Veran from Nayru's body with the seeds and wounding her, Veran makes a bold move by possessing Queen Ambi herself and escapes. With Ambi's body, she completes the Black Tower and continues to torment the people of Labrynna with her rule. Meanwhile, Link, with the help of the Harp of Ages, retrieves all of the Essences of Time. This makes the Maku Tree produce a Maku Seed, which has the power to dispel the magic cast on the Black Tower. He confronts Veran once more at the top of her tower. After a battle similar to their previous encounter, Veran appears to be defeated after Link removes her from Ambi's body. However, after Ambi leaves, Veran attempts to possess Link, but Link dodges her at the last second. Then she suddenly transforms into a demonic, fairy-like form and summons multiple, yet weak, Dark Links. After another defeat, the tower begins collapsing, but Veran, somehow still alive, uses a Wallmaster to capture Link and have him face her a fourth and final time. She reluctantly assumes a grotesque turtle-like form, which morphs into a bee or spider at will, all of which share her face. After a hard-fought battle, she is finally defeated once and for all, and upon her demise the Flame of Sorrow is lit, as Koume and Kotake watch. Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here.
