rdfs:comment
The Sea Serpent is the dreaded scourge of Oberin's oceans. Very strong (now level 11, and still just "blue" on Tracking, for Rangers), fast, and packing a nasty bite, it is best avoided by all but the strongest of players. Sea Serpents are found in most of Oberin's waters and attack players, and Pets on sight. Sea Serpents loot the corpses of players they have killed, taking gold, valuables, and magical items (or at least weapons, Armor, Robes of Protection, Protection Rings, and possibly (+X)-rated Rings). It is said that they are attracted to players carrying large amounts of gold. Sea Serpents are mentioned in Grip of the Shadow Plague by Warren. Sea serpents are a rare breed of dangerous aquatic predators. It is known that the Wizard of Frobozz actually kept a baby sea serpent as a pet. A sea serpent or sea dragon is a large sea-dwelling monster with distinctly serpentine characteristics. Sightings of this serpent-like beast have been reported for hundreds of years and continue to this day. Many old maps show images of sea serpents attacking ships attempting to sail across the ocean. The creatures are said to wrap their bodies around ships and drag them down to watery depths, dooming all sailors aboard. Sea serpents are fierce aquatic predators who have been spotted in Aison and Yamato in the Third Age. Sea Serpent (海龍旋 Kairyuusen?, "Sea Dragon Rotation") is a Water-elemental martial arte used by Alisha Diphda and Maltran from Tales of Zestiria. The Sea Serpent(Serpens montruos.) may use gills or lungs, however, it is not known which. Sea serpents are large serpents living in the seas of Azeroth. They may be worshiped by some murlocs. (DF 11) They don't usually migrate as far north as Durotar, as a general rule. (CoH 20) This is what's written in Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You about Sea Serpents. __NOEDITSECTION__ __NOWYSIWYG__ The Sea Serpent is very similar to the oarfish (rare eel-like creature) in that it has an elongated body and a viciously fanged mouth. Its cheeks have protruding fin-like crests and pairs of horn-like appendanges coming out at the top of its head and under its lower jaw. It has orange spikes running all along its back and a forked tail tip. Interestingly, it also has two scaly wings that permit it to fly. When underwater, those wings are probably used as fins. Sea serpents are monsters that abide near the Land of the Green Isles. The moat monsters are a species of sea serpent. The Sea Serpent is a mythological marine animal, reported to inhabit oceans worldwide. Most of these sightings can be explained either as misidentifications of living animals such as the Oarfish, or simply hoaxes. Many works of fiction list it as a species of dragon, but Sea Serpents are not reported to have wings, superhuman abilities, or the power to breath fire, features of which most typical dragons have in common. They were generally hostile to seafarers, and presumably resided in the Silver Sea, near Aslan's Country. They were also one of three sea beasts that the Sea People were afraid of. A sea serpent was a mythical animal that seafaring lore would describe as a giant green monster with yellow eyes that lived in the oceans, and particularly said to appear during violent storms. After Lara gets out of King Arthur's grave room, the serpent will emerge. To defeat it, the player must shoot the bells and right after the serpent gets distracted, holster the guns and pull the crane so that the the spiked cells falls on her head. when she dies, her corpse provides a jump platform. The player then will slide to the exit. but a Quick-Time Event showing another serpent (maybe the same). Lara will jump over the serpent's head while shooting a lever so that the gate drops and Lara escapes, the serpent will get angry and turn away. Sea Serpents refer to many species of fish and beasts who live in the waters in the World of Deltora. Typically they are long beasts that dwell in seawater and they are extremely dangerous. They come in many different sizes, but their bite is still poisonous. Sea Serpents are commonly found in the Sea of Serpents. __NOWYSIWYG__ <default>Sea Serpent</default> Species: Type: Length: What it looks like: Location (EO) Location (EO2) Time Forms The Sea Serpent is a legendary creature seen only in Endless Ocean 2. It makes an appearance as a fossil in Endless Ocean. The Sea Serpent is a lifeform native to the water-filled planet Hydross. They are encountered in the first missions of the Core Contingency campaigns by both the CORE and the ARM, however, they are displayed on the minimap as the enemy's units and appear to be hostile only to the player's forces. They attack by spewing high temperature heat that quickly drains the health of their victim, and are quite agile as well; though they cannot take much damage themselves. When killed, Sea Serpents leave behind corpses that can be reclaimed for energy. A sea serpent is a type of a sea monster either wholly or partly serpentine. They resemble to Drakons and Dragons, but do not spit poison, live in water, and hold other minor differences. Poseidon has the ability to control the sea serpents/monsters. Sea Serpent (海(かい)竜(りゅう) Kairyū, "Sea Dragon") is a Type of monster. Currently, "Atlantean" is the only pure Sea Serpent-Type archetype. Some major Sea Serpent-Type monsters include "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus", "Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus", "Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness", "Bahamut Shark", "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier", "Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon", "Lavalval Chain", "Water Dragon", "Deep Sea Diva", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Number 32: Shark Drake", "Abyss Dweller", "Mermail Abyssmegalo", and "Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon". Sea Serpent (シーサーペント) is a large marine snake in The Ocean Hunter. It is the third and final sub boss in Baroque Sea. The Sea Serpent is an enemy of Mighty Max, from the Horror Head Mighty Max Pulverizes Sea Squirm. Although such creatures are legendary, history tells of many strange sightings of such creatures. On the planet known as Venus, such a creature did indeed exist. Plinky asked her father Krim if the Sucker Tube that tried to suck them in was a sea serpent, to which he told her that it wasn't alive, it was a machine...some form of human technology. The Sea Serpent is a giant Atlantis guardian. It guards the Shark Key, and is part of the set 8080 Undersea Explorer, which was released in June 2010. It is mainly black and yellow and has red eyes. Sea Serpents were limbless creatures which dwelt in the foul brine of the Pit.

The legendary Sea Serpent is a mysterious and powerful creature. For a long time Sea Serpents were exiled into the world of fairy tales just like the bogeyman or the man in the cave. However, during the years of the serpents, it became shockingly clear that Sea Serpents are a horrible reality. For many years, hordes of Sea Serpents made the ship passage between Carlin and Svargrond impassable. Then, almost over night, they vanished as suddenly as they had appeared. Still, sightings of Sea Serpents are not uncommon nowadays. Sea Serpents are omnivores but prefer meat over seaweed and tang. They hunt seals, sharks, octopuses and small whales, and occasionally also quara. The quara are in a strange relationship with the Sea Serpents. Some of them worship single Sea Serpents like gods, while others organise large hunting parties to exterminate Sea Serpents that enter their territory. Normally, Sea Serpents are afraid of the strange ships humans tend to travel with. Some of them, however, seem to have overcome their fear. Those Sea Serpents attack ships with all their strength, and they are able to destroy even the biggest ships that cruise the seas. If they are able to wreck a whole ship, one can imagine what a single diver or swimmer has to expect from these beasts. While most Sea Serpents avoid the noisy big ships, a single human is always a welcome snack. Sea Serpents attack immediately, and only the fact that they are not used to meet with resistance might be an advantage of their victims.

Sorcerers: Stay diagonal at all times, and use a Wand of Starstorm/Wand of Voodoo/Wand of Defiance with Energy Strike. If you see a second or third appear, run to a safe location where you can easily levitate or go up a floor in case it gets too dangerous. You can also use Great Energy Beam and/or Energy Wave if you see more than one, but be careful not to get waved by both too often, because two or more can drop even the most experienced mages quickly. Recommended for levels 90+, possible with magic shield at 60+, solo. Druids: Stay diagonal at all times, and use a Springsprout Rod/Underworld Rod with Physical Strike. If you see a second or third appear, run to a safe location where you can easily levitate or go up a floor in case it gets too dangerous. You can also use Terra Wave if you see more than one, but be careful not to get waved by both too often, because two or more can drop even the most experienced mages quickly. Recommended for levels 90+, possible with magic shield at 60+, solo. Paladins: You'll need decent skills to solo these monsters, somewhere around 80/70. Since they're weak to physical damage, use Ethereal Spear over your Divine Missile, because it will hit harder. It's recommended mostly that this vocation hunt with a blocker partner since there is no fast way to kill these monsters if you get into trouble. Keep Assassin Stars handy in case it gets too dangerous, if you're a high enough level to use them. Knights: Since these monsters are weak to physical attacks, you'll fare well here, if you have the skills to kill them. Follow the tactics of mages; stay diagonal whenever possible, and be weary of two or more. Though you will hit harder than many vocations will, it's still best to hunt conservatively to make the most profit. If you should get more than one serpent on you, you can use Exori and Exori Gran to deal massive damage and drop them more quickly. All vocations: These monsters are tricky not because of their attacks or behaviors, but because of the spawn they're in. Within each floor you go to, you can expect to find at least 2 at a time, and it's difficult to run since you're underwater. Do the best you can to lure only one out at a time, and never hunt them on HP unless you have more than 700; they commonly wave with both terra and ice at the same time, which can hit for up to 600, as well as their melee. Important: If you loot a glacier amulet, wear it until it gets low on charges. You can still sell it to Rashid with minimal charges. Paladins: Stair hop or use shield and throwing weapons , also you need good skills to solo them , they are weak to melee so Ethereal Spear can do more damage than Divine Missile, you could use 2 shots of Assassin Stars to give the final blow so they don't run away. For all vocations: Their wave attacks cover more area than other monsters wave attacks so is harder avoid, still standing diagonally is your best option, even walking slowly. You can remove the helmet of the deep and put again to cancel the drowning bomb, this will save you around 100 hp. Mages: With level 90 and higher use Energy/Death/Earth Strike combined with an underworld rod. With lvl 60+ you can easy kill them with mana shield and sudden death runes. Explosion runes are also good. They run and heal fast so kill them against a wall so they can't escape. Important: If you loot a glacier amulet, wear it until it gets low on charges. You can still sell it to Rashid with minimal charges. Knights: Lure single Sea Serpents and fight them with Exori and Exori Gran. Heal early with Strong Health Potions or better. Try to trap them into a corner when they run away. Also: You need to go up and down alot to hunt them so levitate spell is a must or bring Ice Cubes or Pots and you can use them to stair hop.

Sea Serpents are mentioned in Grip of the Shadow Plague by Warren. Sea Serpents were limbless creatures which dwelt in the foul brine of the Pit. Sea serpents have a longer and grander history than just about any other cryptid. They were studied and debated about for hundreds of years before the formal discipline of cryptozoology arose. During this time period, dozens of other mythical sea creatures were proven real, and at many points in history it seemed as if official discovery of the sea serpent was just around the corner. However, no official discovery has ever happened; today the sea serpent is a subject of scientific ridicule. Sightings of sea serpents are quite numerous, occur in all the world's oceans and come from every era of history, including a substantial number of modern sightings. Because of these facts, and because the ocean is by far the easiest place for a large animal to live undetected, many researchers still hold out hope that someday the sea serpent may be discovered. The Sea Serpent is very similar to the oarfish (rare eel-like creature) in that it has an elongated body and a viciously fanged mouth. Sea serpents are a rare breed of dangerous aquatic predators. It is known that the Wizard of Frobozz actually kept a baby sea serpent as a pet. A sea serpent was a mythical animal that seafaring lore would describe as a giant green monster with yellow eyes that lived in the oceans, and particularly said to appear during violent storms. They were generally hostile to seafarers, and presumably resided in the Silver Sea, near Aslan's Country. They were also one of three sea beasts that the Sea People were afraid of. __NOEDITSECTION__ __NOWYSIWYG__ <default>Sea Serpent</default> Species: Type: Length: What it looks like: Location (EO) Location (EO2) Time Forms The Sea Serpent is a legendary creature seen only in Endless Ocean 2. The Sea Serpent is an enemy of Mighty Max, from the Horror Head Mighty Max Pulverizes Sea Squirm. Sea serpents are fierce aquatic predators who have been spotted in Aison and Yamato in the Third Age. Sea Serpents are no longer level 8 and are the most dangerous of all Level 11 Creatures. They are capable of attacking from 2-3 squares away and are the only non-Dragon creatures with this ability (other than all-ranged, Magical Creatures. When fleeing a Sea Serpent onto land, it is important to take three steps away from shore to clear the range of its bite (which has the same range in water, or any combinations of steps that add-to, that). Although Sea Serpents are usually found in the oceans and rivers one has appeared in the Andris moat.
