In the ruined ghost-village of Myrton in Ruddlestone, the last entry in the journal in the Elders' Meeting House, dated the Third Day of Locking, 216AC, tells of the torments and agonies inflicted on the village by the Necromancer (or Necromage), Cadaver. This chilling entry reads as follows: Cadaver is a freelance agent. A creature of the blackest mystic arts, Cadaver only ever seems to want to turn all of humanity into zombie creatures that he can control. Maybe when everyone answers to him, he'll find the peace he's looking for. File:Quake3.png Cadaver is a playable character in Quake 3. He appears to be a mutilated corpse in an orange prison jumpsuit. He favors the Rocket Launcher and Lightning Gun. Cadaver is a freelance agent. Recorded since c.1500, from [[w:|]][[Category: derivations|Cadaver]] cadāver, probably from cadō (“‘I fall’”) as a metaphor for "I die", also source (through comb. form -cida) of the -cide in suicide, homicide etc. A cadaver (also called a carcass, a corpse, a stiff or the remains) was the deceased body of an individual. The term "carcass" could also refer to one's live body. In 2267, while trying to bait a Omicron spore-infected Spock, James T. Kirk called him "A carcass full of memory banks who should be squatting in a mushroom." (TOS: "This Side of Paradise" ) In 2364, after Whalen had been shot, Cyrus Redblock ordered, "Get that stiff out of here." When Doctor Beverly Crusher informed him that the historian was not dead, Redblock guessed that based on the man's pallor, he likely would die soon. (TNG: "The Big Goodbye" ) After a beheading (theoretically), one's last sight before death could be one's headless corpse, at least according to a Bolian orderly stationed on Ajilon Prime in 2373. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong") After Seven of Nine referred to Neelix as a cadaver in 2374, The Doctor remarked, "And they say I have a lousy bedside manner." (VOY: "Mortal Coil") A creature of the blackest mystic arts, Cadaver only ever seems to want to turn all of humanity into zombie creatures that he can control. Maybe when everyone answers to him, he'll find the peace he's looking for. Cadaver ist ein isometrisches Adventure Spiel, das von den Bitmap Brothers entwickelt wurde. Es erschien 1990 für den Amiga und Atari ST, und wurde danach auf den PC und Acorn Archimedes portiert . File:Quake3.png Cadaver is a playable character in Quake 3. He appears to be a mutilated corpse in an orange prison jumpsuit. He favors the Rocket Launcher and Lightning Gun. In the ruined ghost-village of Myrton in Ruddlestone, the last entry in the journal in the Elders' Meeting House, dated the Third Day of Locking, 216AC, tells of the torments and agonies inflicted on the village by the Necromancer (or Necromage), Cadaver. This chilling entry reads as follows: Myrton fell into ruin and became a place of fear, especially to the people of the nearby village of Assart. But with the return of Belgaroth to Ruddlestone in the 280s AC, evil began to stir in Myrton, the Great Bell was heard to toll again, and Cadaver rose from the grave. With Cadaver rose the dead of Myrton, who assailed the nearby village of Assart, carrying off those who could not escape them, to swell the ranks of Cadaver's undead army. A Cadaver is a stronger version of the Mummy. It can only be found in Durance of Hate in Act III, unlike other Mummies. Mummy Dried Corpse • Decayed • Embalmed • Preserved Dead • Cadaver
