Alar is an Ogier Elder of Stedding Tsofu. She is the Eldest of the Elders. She is very old. She is the grandmother of Erith and mother of Iva. Alar was a Skorr religious leader. The Skorr revered him as their salvation and their teacher. In the mid-21st century, he led his warrior species into a new era of peace. After his death, his thought patterns were preserved in an indurite sculpture called the Soul of the Skorr. (TAS: "The Jihad") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. However, it wasn't until Alar made a racist comment about Teal'c that O'Neill allowed Daniel to ask further questions. After learning that the Eurondans were essentially followers of a Nazi-esque philosophy, O'Neill and Teal'c turned the Eurondans' own remote-controlled fighters that they were given access to against the base, giving the Breeders an opening to destroy the facility. Attempting to escape, Alar begged to be permitted to accompany SG-1 back to Earth in exchange A character or city. As a city, it may be located upon the shore of Lake Demhe.
