Crunchy
rdfs:comment
He has worked at the Animal Shelter, Great Will, Wally's Emporium of Hardware and Explosives, and the State Parks service. He is the stereotypical parody of a hippie with his long curly hair, his laid back personality, and his participation in animal rights organizations, environmental efforts, vegitarianism, and civil protests for different reasons other than their original cause. In Dan Vs. Burgerphile, while Dan chained himself up to the cash register at Burgerphile over a botched drive thru order, Crunchy chained himself up to protest the Burgerphile Corporation for serving meat. Tim, Crunchy and Eski appeared in the 14th issue of Postbag from the Hedge, which first revealed their names. The letter also revealed that Crunchy is incapable of speech due to his lack of a tongue, lips or lungs. His hands are also prone to falling off, but he is still capable of writing.. Jagex often used him for promotional material on the RuneScape website. Crunchy is depicted as a skeletal warrior with a metallic helmet, and was accompanied by a human named Tim. His most famous role was holding the "High Detail" button before RuneScape HD's release. The two also featured on various other pieces of artwork released by Jagex, as well as on the cover of RuneScape - The Official Handbook. An urban legend says that cats have nine lives. For Crunchy, that also means nine dumb ways to die: slowly eviscerated, decapitated by a bear, poisoned three times by Azel, quartered, hammered, having his throat cut by a chicken, and last but not least run over by Jean's truck. All in all, the little cat wasn't destined to last long in the urban jungle that is Clint City…

Crunchy appears as a bobblehead in the Gower Quest, alongside Tim. Due to being incapable of speech, Tim speaks through him like a ventriloquists dummy. According to Tim, after the Tim and Crunchy bobblehead pets lost the Player Power poll, it was decided that they would be in the quest anyway, but the wrong concept art for them was used by mistake. They are in charge of overseeing the five Environment artists, and they task players with giving them cups of tea before they help rob the Wise Old Man's bank. Jagex often used him for promotional material on the RuneScape website. Crunchy is depicted as a skeletal warrior with a metallic helmet, and was accompanied by a human named Tim. His most famous role was holding the "High Detail" button before RuneScape HD's release.
