Corruptor (Birth Name: Marion Quam) is a really evil penguin who is the keeper of the Corruption Amulet which is a corrupted version of an Elemental Amulet. He has no true motives other than to cause corruption in the world so that it will destory itself. Corruptor is a type of monster in ADOM. Their attacks cause significant corruption (as their name suggests), and always penetrate armor. Since PCs are very likely to get corrupted if they don't kill them quickly enough, players lacking some means of safely controlling the PC's corruption should attack them from a distance, especially if they gather in large groups (from threat rooms etc). The Corruptor is an item used in the levels for the Operation Sling-Stone, acquired by defeating Infested enemies. The three types of corruptors include the Alpha, Beta, and Stable corruptors. The stable corruptor was the most commonly dropped, being dropped by light Infested. Alpha and Beta corruptors were dropped from Ancient Infested. The Corruptor is the main antagonist of TRON 2.0: Killer App (Game Boy Advance). He appears as an orange-faced being in a purplish suit, with multiple faces and mantis-like arms. He serves as the final boss of Mercury's storyline, as opposed to Securo in Tron's storyline. Corrupter is the basic aircraft and intelligence unit for Novus. It is the primary method Novus uses to spread viruses and is itself immune to them. It is able to see through stealth. The Corrupter also has a cutting laser that attacks ground and air. Its laser is particularly good against infantry, light vehicles, and Masari Dark Matter Armor, but bad against Walkers. The corruptor's tentacles consist of elongated muscle fibers laden with cancerous growths. As said growths increase in size, consuming the surrounding tissues in the process, they generate a powerful electromagnetic field that warps gravity around the creature, granting it flight. If the corruptor does not regulate the growths, they are more than capable of completely consuming its tentacles. The spores stored in its ink sacs are circulated through the tentacles from time to time. This seems to inhibit (and even regress) the development of its ever-present cancerous growths. It is assumed by Dominion scientists that the creature does this to adjust its flight capabilities to new atmospheres, and to prevent the cancerous cells from consuming its tentacles. Faction: Villain The Corruptor's power sets are: Primary: Ranged Secondary: Buff/Debuff The Corruptor has Low Hit Points and High Damage. The Corruptor, or FAS-ACA3 Scarab is an ancient war machine manufactured by Faro Automated Solutions as part of the Peacekeeper line of automated defense systems. Like all corrupted Faro machines, the Corruptor is capable of hijacking other machines, self-replication and fueling itself with biomass. The Corruptor is a Hard Mode monster which spawns in The Corruption after the Wall of Flesh has been defeated. It may be likened to a larger and fiercer version of the Eater of Souls, as it possesses similar appearance and movement patterns. While flying around, it displays a slight visual blurring effect much like the player does when wearing certain armor sets (such as the Shadow Armor set). The Corruptor is the evolution of the Warlock with emphases on debuffs and traps rather than area of effect spells. The Corruptor is a powerful debuffer (also AOE), buffer and damage dealer. As Corruptor you have two paths: PvP, with better traps and debuffs, or damage dealer through buffs. __TOC__ The Corruptor is a squid-like zerg flying unit that attacks air units and aerial structures. Its main attack is a type of acidic slime capable of weakening the molecular structure of most substances it comes in contact with. With certain mutagens, some strains infest captial ships to add to the zerg arsenal (Starcraft II concepts: Corruptor/Development). The loss of a Battlecruiser and Carrier can cripple their enemy's attack formation. Even robotic constructs like Crystal Guardians can become hollowed armor for a zerg organism. The infestation does not last as they cannot use creep as nurishment. As such, the mutated virus eventually causes the host to explode as a final action for the swarm. Jackson Day was a factory worker at the shipping department of a pharmaceutical manufacturing company that specialized in psychoactive chemicals. When a fire broke out he was doused with a mixture of potent heated chemicals. Day later discovered that the chemicals had affected both his body and mind, psycho actively unleashing his selfish, hateful tendencies, turning his skin a sickly blue-black, and granting him the ability to subvert the wills of those he touches.

Corruptor (Birth Name: Marion Quam) is a really evil penguin who is the keeper of the Corruption Amulet which is a corrupted version of an Elemental Amulet. He has no true motives other than to cause corruption in the world so that it will destory itself. Most notably, the Corruptor has a powerful projectile attack known as Vile Spit, which has the capability to inflict players with the debuff "Weak". The projectile itself is destructible with any weapon (it has 1 HP), so it may be eliminated before it causes any damage to the player. Like all other projectiles launched by mobs, Vile Spit will not drop anything. Like many Hard Mode enemies, the Corruptor can still pose a threat even to players with the best defensive equipment. Powerful ranged weapons are advised for dispatching it with maximum speed and minimal risk. Faction: Villain The Corruptor's power sets are: Primary: Ranged Secondary: Buff/Debuff The Corruptor has Low Hit Points and High Damage. Additionally the Corruptor's genetic structure allows it to morph into a Brood Lord to specialize in aerial bombardment roles. Special abilities: * Brood Lord Morph - the corruptor can morph into a Brood Lord * Corruption - target unit is covered in slime and receives 20% extra damage * Viral Corruption (upgrade) - target unit becomes infested for 120 seconds. Once time is up unit detonates dealing 150 explosive splash damage (+100 for massive) in the area Corruptor is a type of monster in ADOM. Warframe Stable Corruptor.png|Stable Corruptor Warframe Beta Corruptor.png|Beta Corruptor Warframe Alpha Corruptor.png|Alpha Corruptor When used in the mission, the number of Corruptors placed into the terminal would determine the time you had to defend it. With all three Corruptors placed into the terminal, it takes 60 seconds of defending until you can progress to the extraction point. It is recommended that if you are using either Beta or Alpha Corruptors, that you have an ally using the other as to maximize the points attained at the end. The corruptor's ability to fly is also aided by a statocyst—a pear-shaped gland that contains a solid, mineralized mass that floated in a low-density liquid. Its walls are coated in an impermeable substance of variable viscosity, and lined with small filaments. When the mineral core inside the gland shifts due to movement or orientation changes, the liquid and the filaments provide instant feedback to the corruptor, allowing it to maintain its balance and navigate both in atmospheric conditions and deep space. Bulbous protrusions on the top and the sides of the corruptor constitute its raw brain mass, which also function as a disposable protective measure. When something hits the tissue with enough force, it becomes a foamy substance that absorbs and redirects the kinetic energy of the impact. The damaged brain tissue is then discarded and regenerated. Calling himself the Corruptor, he touched the Asgardian thunder god Thor and caused him to lose his inhibitions against wanton violence. Thor was brought back to his senses by the fledgling crime fighter, Nova, and the two apprehended Day. While undergoing medical treatment, Day reverted to his Corruptor persona, escaped, and formed a criminal organization called the Inner Circle. The Corruptor planned to loot New York with armies of ordinary citizens under his influence, but his scheme was again thwarted by Nova. The Corruptor has since used the Hulk as his pawn. His current whereabouts are unknown.
