- Feline, prostitute, part time youth counsler, bailiff, super hero, scholar, technician. Those are few of many profesiions of Catman. But how did he get so many? Forget that. Not to be confused with Batman, Catman is widely known for his timely acts of heroism - that eventually turn into destruction and death and loss of virginity. He has been jailed forty-six times for many many reasons such as poisoning a lake with his radio-active urine, destroying the Twin Towers, and stealing a lollipop.
- Thomas Blake is a world-famous trapper of jungle cats who turned to crime because he had grown bored with hunting and had squandered most of his fortune. He became a burglar who committed his crimes in a catsuit made out of an ancient African cloth he believed give him a cat's nine lives. After many years of defeat at the hands of Batman and Catwoman, Catman became something of a joke in the super-villain community, so he retired and moved to Africa to live among a pride of lions. When the lions were slaughtered, Blake became a criminal mercenary and a member of the Secret Six, initially to track down the lions' killers. After the lion-killers were identified, Blake stayed with the Secret Six. He is also the on-again/off-again lover of Helena Bertenelli, the Huntress.
- Catman is a character in the DC Universe, initially a super-villain and foe of Batman, although in recent years has developed into a more capable and anti-heroic figure.

- Catman was originally a world famous jungle cat trapper and a millionaire named Thomas Blake. He had grown bored with hunting and wealth and decided to become a supervillain for excitement. He was inspired by both Batman and Catwoman in his design. He was a thief with a cat theme like her, but his costume and utility belt was reminiscent of Batman. Catwoman, not liking her modus operandi stolen worked with Batman to capture Blake.
