  • Zeke is an insurance claims investigator. His granduncle Michael Jacobson was a Seraph and chose Zeke to replace him when he retired. Zeke had joked about wanting his life to be more exciting, but didn't realize that angels would interpret that statement as acceptance of a job offer. He is classified as a Necrodemian (demon executioner), which means he can kill demons without consequence so long as he follows certain protocols. He is aided by Jack, a demon who was imprisoned into a metal form. Jack can transmute into a variety of forms: sword, motorcycle and suit of armor. In theory, Zeke is also aided by Ravenna, a gorgeous half-demon who passes Zeke information from the demons but can barely stand him.
