  • Louis Allen "Lou" Rawls (December 1, 1933 - January 6, 2006) was an American singer, actor, and voice actor. Among his hit songs are "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine", "Love Is a Hurtin' Thing", "Lady Love", "Dead End Street", and "Your Good Thing (Is About to End)". Rawls was among the members of The Louisiana Gator Boys, a blues supergroup from The Blues Brothers 2000, along with B.B. King.

He was also the guest star on The Muppet Show episode 215, where he performed his hit "Groovy People." Rawls died of lung cancer on January 6, 2006.

After his military service went Rawls singing at the Pilgrim Travelers group. During his tour he got a serious car accident in 1958 . He lay in coma after 5 1/2 day. In addition to singing, he also appeared as actor in a number of feature films, such as Leaving Las Vegas, Blues Brothers 2000 and Baywatch Nights.
