- Maro ist ein kleines Kind aus Twilight Princess, das wie Taro, Colin und Link zu Beginn in Ordon lebt. Allerdings stellt sich immer weiter raus, dass Maro, der ja eigentlich noch ein Baby ist, viel mehr Grips im Kopf hat, als man von Kleinkindern annimmt, knallhart ist und gut verhandeln kann. - Maro first appears in page 10 of the first issue. In page 14 Swifkill tries to talk him out of working for Rapier, but Maro claims that Inaria doesn't need the Elite Guard protecting it anymore and then attempts to kill Swiftkill, however, Swiftkill scars his right eye and a wounded Maro is left sreaming in pain. It is unknown what happened to him after four years since the Blackbloods' exile but it can be assumed he's with the Alterons.
- Maro was a geisha who worked in the village of Mimura at the Blessings of the New Year, owned by the gentle Otaki. Her parents had been died from a pneumonia and her younger son Tsuzen tended the familiar lands. She was a smart and romantic woman, who flirted often with young samurai expecting to find a man who would honor her.

He is a Tao Master who looks like a sumo wrestler, and a member of the Apostles of the Star which he helped to create, alongside his life-long friend and fellow Tao Master Shiki and the series' main villain Creed Diskenth. He and Shiki want to reshape the world so that the Tao would be used worldwide. Despite being a Tao Master and one of the founders of the Apostles of the Star, he has no high position in their hierarchy.
