- Originally a spy for Doctor Robotnik, Stripes welcomed the Sonic Underground into Lake Valley when they arrived and prepared to hand them over to Robotnik. However, he developed a crush on Sonia the Hedgehog and tried to protect her. After Robotnik betrayed him, and tried to destroy the resort, Stripes was almost roboticized, but was rescued by Sonia. He then joined the Resistance.
- Some time later, Stripes decided to leave the dangerous Emerald Hill and gain sanctuary with Doctor Sun in the Mystic Cave Zone. Stripes' father, Mr. Stripes, visited Kintobor's Laboratory and pleaded with Sonic to go and save his son. Sonic and Tails braved several traps before they met the doctor and Stripes, but the youngster didn't want to be rescued, preferring to stay in the safety of his new master. Sonic soon discovered that Doctor Sun was Doctor Robotnik in disguise, leading followers through the Salvation Doorway to a Badnik Processing Plant. Once Stripes realised he had been fooled, he gladly went home with the other children.
- Tigger loves bouncing in mud puddles, which forces Pooh, Piglet and Rabbit to give him a bath. But the bath causes his stripes to vanish. Due to this, they cannot figure out what Tigger is. Tigger tries to be a rabbit, but fails when he unsuccessfully tries to protect Rabbit's garden from the bugs. Shortly after, he tries to be a bear, but accidentally bumps into a honey tree, making the bees attack him. Afterwards, Tigger says. “I don’t think I like being a bear. It gives me a heady-ache.” Later, after Piglet covers Tigger in Christmas lights, they try to paint stripes on him at Piglet’s suggestion. Overjoyed, Tigger bounces outside, but a rainstorm washes away the stripes. Discouraged, Tigger leaves in the middle of the night, wondering what he is. By daybreak, Eeyore passes by and tells
