Carnevale holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television from San Jose State University. She spent three years working on independent films in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Los Angeles in 2002. Her first major feature film experience was as a production assistant on the 1997 comedy Flubber, which featured Clancy Brown, Christopher McDonald, and Star Trek: The Next Generation regular Wil Wheaton. Her credits as a second assistant accountant thus far consist of the films Hancock (2008) and Angels & Demons (2009). Carnevale currently runs her own film company, 17 Films.
