| - Tarkus(タルカスTarukasu) is an antagonist from Phantom Blood. He is a Zombie made from the centuries-old corpse of a powerful warrior of ancient Britain. Unlike his ally Bruford, Tarkus was a typical strongman fighter and had sold his entire soul to Dio Brando.

- Tarkus was a Human male commander of the Sith Empire during the Galactic War. In 3642 BBY he was present on Hoth, making arrangement with Kandhar of the White Maw pirate gang to retrieve a cloaking device the leader of the gang supposedly possessed. Their meeting was interrupted by the Voidhound, who was to kill Kandhar to gain the trust of Shai Tenna. The smuggler chose to expose Kandhar's ties to Imperials to his men, who killed Tarkus in anger of being betrayed.

- Tarkus is an antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adenture Part I: Phantom Blood. In life, Tarkus and his comrade Bruford served Queen Mary of Scots in the fifteenth-century until they were tricked by Queen Elizabeth of English into offering themselves to the axe for Mary's release. But the two knights realized their queen have been killed prior with Tarkus's spending his final moments expressing his hate for England. Tarkus was later revived as a zombie alongside Bruford by Dio Brando to serve as an enforcer.
- During the Blood Ravens' campaign on Kronus (known in Chapter annals as the Dark Crusade), Tarkus served alongside Davian Thule and quickly established himself as one of the Captain's most trusted advisors. During this campaign Tarkus distinguished himself twice: first against the Tau, and then again while fighting against the Necrons. Tarkus was recognised for his valorous actions during the assault on the Necron Catacombs of Kronus, where he and his squad repelled wave after wave of Necron forces in order to buy his commander enough time to plant special explosive charges designed to bring down the Thur'Abis Plateau and bury the Necron force. - Tarkus is a veteran of centuries of campaigning, and is renowned for his calm under fire. He leads his Tactical Marines into combat with confidence and a steely demeanor. Rarely angered by anything, Tarkus is a rock-solid second-in-command and an expert tactician. Tarkus earned Terminator Honors during the assault on the Catacombs of Kronus, fighting alongside Davian Thule against the dreaded Necrons. He and his squad repelled wave after wave of the robotic horrors while Captain Thule planted the explosive which would end the Necron threat to the planet.
- Tarkus may refer to a continent, but definitely refers to the world. Locations on Tarkus include the Darken Range, Torlin Forest, the northern regions, the plains (these locations appear to be mostly on the same continent, so may refer to the Tarkus continent). The New Atlas appears to discuss more about Tarkus continent (but also mentions stuff beyond the continent as well); It is said that the Torlin Forest is unlike any other place upon the face of Tarkus (although its unclear if this in context of the world or the continent).
