The spell was usable only while the summoner's champion was dead. • "Revive" is an informal term to describe Special Summoning a monster from the Graveyard. The ability to return a monster from the Graveyard to the field is a relatively common yet nonetheless important card effect since it helps a player maintain field advantage and can, in some cases, allow them to bring back a monster that was difficult to Summon in the first place. Most of the more general-use cards that deal with this, such as "Premature Burial", are Limited or Forbidden, though there are much fewer legal restrictions on cards that deal with only specific kinds of monsters, such as "Infernity Launcher".
  • A corpse is a dead monster, but there may be a way to revive it. Most annoyingly, the trolls and the Riders have the ability to revive themselves; that is, they will resurrect a few turns after they are killed. See their articles for strategies on how to prevent this and kill them permanently. Most actions that try to dispose of a Rider corpse will instead instantly resurrect it. Among other actions, this includes teleporting it, tinning it, or taking it into your inventory. This resurrection is useful if you are Death farming.
  • Image:Revive.gif Revive is a Venus-based Support Psynergy that is used to "Revive a downed ally" to full health. It is available to the following classes: The White Mage learns it at level 17 while all of the rest learn it at level 19
  • Revive is an action that can only be done on dead hatchlings and dead adults. It is when you use a magic spell to attempt to revive your dragon. Three things can happen: 1. * The revival will fail and the dragon is dead for good. ("You attempt to revive the dragon/hatchling using magic, but fail. The dragon’s body disintegrates." ) 2. * The revival is successful and the dragon returns to its former state. ("You attempt to revive the dragon using magic, and are successful.") 3. * The revival is only partially successful and the dragon turns into an Undead Dragon, also known as a Zombie Dragon. ("You attempt to revive the dragon/hatchling using magic, but something goes horribly wrong. The dragon is brought back from the dead as a zombie." )

They can be sent off to Jail, whereupon they will awaken and can continue their quest (levels 10-49 with the grogginess effect ), or they can wait to be Revived by another pirate who has a tonic. This other pirate will sacrifice one of their health tonics to help the pirate regain lost Health and Voodoo Power. Once the tonic kicks in, the revived pirate is ready to go, and the player who revived the knocked out player gets 15 Reputation points as a reward.
