The fact that there are over 50,000 knife related deaths in Finland every year is not in any way connected to the liberal knife laws but are instead the result of alcohol and atheism.

  • For people planning on visiting Finland, I'd divide Finland into a couple of regions with different flavor. The most familiar place for foreigners is probably the city of Helsinki on the south coast of Finland. Then there's the beautiful Åland (Ahvenanmaa) archipelago off the southwestern corner of Finland. My personal favorite is the gorgeous southeastern lake region with literally thousands of lakes and islands. The western coastal area is mostly flat fertile fields used for agriculture. Finally, in the north there's Lapland, the land of the midnight sun and home of Santa Claus (one of many places making that claim).
  • The Republic of Finland () is one of the Nordic countries. Situated in Northern Europe, it shares land borders on the Scandinavian Peninsula with Sweden to the west, Russia to the east, and Norway to the north while Estonia lies to its south. Finland is bounded by the Baltic Sea, with the Gulf of Finland to the south and the Gulf of Bothnia to the west. The Åland Islands, off the southwestern coast, are an autonomous, demilitarised administrative province of Finland.

  • Finland was a province and then a grand duchy under Sweden from the 12th to the 19th centuries, and an autonomous grand duchy of Russia after 1809. It won its complete independence in 1917. During World War II, it was able to successfully defend its freedom and resist invasions by the Soviet Union - albeit with some loss of territory. In the subsequent half century, the Finns made a remarkable transformation from a farm/forest economy to a diversified modern industrial economy; per capita income is now among the highest in Western Europe. A member of the European Union since 1995, Finland was the only Nordic state to join the euro system at its initiation in January 1999. In the 21st century, the key features of Finland's modern welfare state are a high standard of education, equality prom

  • Finland made its debut at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961. It has been considered by many fans to be the "under-achievers" of Eurovision, placing last on nine occasions (three of them with the dreaded Nul Points), and being relegated 5 times due to low results. Occasionally the country has had higher places, before scoring low again.
  • Phinland is one of the biggest theme parks (bigger than The Magic Kingdom and DisneyWorld) ever built, and was a joint project between Phineas and Ferb and Disneyland itself. But this one is the most different type of Disneyland. It is (OF COURSE) Phineas and Friends themed. Located specially offshore-10 miles from mainland-it was built on one of the biggest manmade island, and it features the first floating, yes FLOATING, airport. Serving light aircrafts, 737s to A380s from all over the world. And also a floating ferry dock, serving over 25 of them at a time.

  • Finland is a Nordic country situated in the Fennoscandian region of northern Europe. It borders Sweden on the west, Russia on the east, and Norway on the north, while Estonia lies to its south across the Gulf of Finland. The capital city is Helsinki. Wildstorm Universe Finland was previously taken over by Finnish superhuman Lemminkäinen Hämäläinen by affecting the people's minds. He made sure that the entire population was experimented on so he could have the country full of super powered beings. This forces Lemminkäinen's brother Jukko to stop him. Because of the feedback caused by Jukko's powers during his final confrontation with his brother, the entire country felt the pain of eight million Finns that had been killed. The results were fatal. Furthermore, Finland is still covered by this feedback which became known as the Masking Wall. After some time, the less than 2,000 surviving Finns emerged from the vast cemetery their country had become, reaching Sweden for medical care and revealing to the world what had happened in Finland. Over time, the surviving Finns - all of them superhumans of some kind - decided that they would leave the Masking Wall up and turn their country into a haven for refugees all over the world, as long as they were willing to learn the Finnish language and weren't superhumans. This meant the Finns themselves would leave - but keep a watchful eye on Finland, and crush anybody trying something suspicious against their superhuman-free haven. Since the World's End, Finland became one of the very few unaffected and safest places on Earth which houses large number of surviving refugees thanks to the Masking Wall. However, The High, who has been helping bring refugees to The Wall, found reason to be suspicious of the activities within Finland. Eventually High's suspicion was proven correct as he infiltrated the nation, while depowered, and discover that Kherans have taken control over Finland under a brutal military reign over the human refugees. The reason for the Kherans' presence in Finland is that the generator powering the Masking Wall somehow snagged a quantum tether and opened a rift into the Bleed. And from within the Bleed, the Kheran warship, The Red Blade, was trapped in that space for ten millennia after banishing dimensional alien forces back into the Bleed. And with the rift open, The Red Blade escape and its crew, the Knights of Khera, planned to conquer and make Earth their new home.

  • The Republic of Finland (Suomi in Finnish) is a country in northern Europe, sometimes considered to be part of Scandinavia. It is bordered by Sweden on the west, Norway on the north and Russia on the east, while Estonia lies to its south across the Gulf of Finland. The capital city is Helsinki. Finland was part of Sweden from 1249 to 1809, when it became an autonomous Grand Duchy within the Russian Empire. Finland's declaration of independence from Russia in 1917 was followed by a civil war. During World War II, Finland fought two wars against the Soviet Union, and, as a consequence, Finland became a co-belligerent with Nazi Germany for a time. In 1944, Finland made peace with the USSR and fought Germany. Finland joined the United Nations in 1955, the OECD in 1969, and the European Union in 1995.

  • In the past, before the spread of Christianity, in Scandinavian areas such as Finland and Sweden, Norse Mythology was widely believed in.
  • Finland is the smartest country on Earth. Despite being extremely cold most of the time, millions of people actually live here. Every one here has passed Wumbo University with at least a B+ grade. Finnish YouTube Poop is known as SinäTuubaPaska, which translates directly into English as YouTuba Shit. SinäTuubaPaskas are quite often poops of Winnie the Pooh.
  • Finland (Finnish: Suomi) is the 64th Character in Head Soccer. He made his appearance in the game in Update 5.1 along with Bulgaria on 26th April 2016. He is also a 5 Star Character in Arcade.
The best time of the year to visit Finland is summer, from late June to late August. During that time the temperatures are nice and warm, and the nights are so bright that you could read a book outdoors through the night without additional lighting. Staying out a whole night to experience those bright nights is really something you won't forget. It's not necessary to go all the way north to Lapland to experience the "white nights". If you are interested in winter sports (slalom, cross country skiing, etc.), winter is not a bad time to visit Finland. Lapland is especially good winter travel destination. While you might think the winter would be really dark since the summers are so light, that is not quite the case. The snow cover multiplies the brightness of the street lights in the cities and the moonlight in the countryside making Finnish winter nights feel not quite as dark as they are in many other places on this planet.
  • Finland is an European country, bordered by Sweden, Norway and Russia. There are a little over 5.2 million people living in Finland, the capital of which is Helsinki.
The country is also the one that has waited the longest to achieve its first win. In 2006, after 45 years of bad luck, the heavy metal band Lordi triumphed with the song Hard Rock Hallelujah - the previous record for the longest wait was 31 years by Greece. The victory gave Finland the opportunity to host the contest in Helsinki in 2007.

  • Finland is a country in northern Europe, bordered to the west by Sweden, Norway in the north, and Russia to the east.
  • Finland is a large, mostly empty country squeezed between Sweden and Russia. Though ethnically distinct from both, it has generally been ruled by one or other for most of its history. After centuries of Swedish domination (leading to Finland still having a sizeable Swedish-speaking minority), it was handed over to Russia in 1809 and remained under the Tsar until the revolutions of 1917 gave it the chance to break free. Finland was neutral in World War Two right up to the Soviet invasion. In one of the less likely outcomes of the recent memory, the Finnish army (outnumbered 4 to 1 in men and 200 to 1 in tanks) handed the Red Army their asses on a plate and preserved Finnish independence. The Soviets gained the port of Viborg and a slice of Finnish territory. Better people than tropers have tried to determine which side actually won. Finland attacked the USSR in 1941 with the Nazi invasion in 1941, becoming the only democratic state on the Axis side. Finland lost but retained its independence, and after making peace with the Soviets had (at Moscow's insistence) to expel the Germans from its soil by force. This sequence of events has given wargame designers headaches to this day. Finland was the first country to paint swastikas on its aircraft, though in their case it was the personal insignia of the Swedish count who paid to set the Air Force up, and pre-dates the Nazi use of the symbol. It still looks odd to see British-supplied Hurricane fighters and American Brewsters with swastikas painted on the side, though. War reparations to the Soviet Union required heavy industry and turned out to jump-start Finland's development from rural backwoods to advanced, well-to-do backwoods. The country remained neutral throughout the Cold War through concessions ("Finlandization," including buying MiG-21s and other weapons from the USSR) and fancy footwork. Afterwards it joined the European Union in 1995 and adopted the Euro in 2002. Modern Finland is a wealthy and stable nation. There's a high tax rate and a lot of vaguely Minnesotan, rather than Alaskan, nature. The country is probably best known as an exporter of mobile phones (Nokia is a Finnish firm), heavy metal bands, and racing drivers. Finns successful in any form of racing, be it on skis, wheels or feet, are invariably known as "Flying Finns." For some unknown reason, Finnish overrepresentation is almost a Running Gag amongst online communities. Finns have a large presence on this wiki, possibly the largest from a non-English-speaking nation. Finland was one of the first countries on adopting the Internet, and many IT innovations - social media, My SQL, mobile technology - originate in Finland. Finland is the world's best country chosen by the Newsweek (Take that Sweden!). In fact, due to its awesome school system and Newsweek's dodgy scoring system Finland got 102 points for education -- out of 100. The Finnish language is notoriously alien-looking to speakers of Indo-European languages (such as English), it is part of the completely unrelated Finno-Ugric group (including the closely related Estonian, the very distantly related Hungarian, and a number of minority languages in Russia). It was this strangeness that attracted JRR Tolkien to the language, and he used Finnish as the basis for his invented Elvish languages (specifically Quenya) -- though he later changed the spelling to a more Latinate form that would look more appealing to English eyes. That said, Finnish is actually spelled very much like classical Latin, probably because Finnish spelling was deliberately created a relatively short time ago. * Jean Sibelius - Composer * Tove Jansson - writer of The Moomins * HIM - 'Love Metal' band * The Rasmus - Alternative rock band * Lordi - Hard Rock band, Eurovision Song Contest winners * Nightwish - Rock Metal band * Finntroll - polka-metal band * Stratovarius - Power Metal band * Skepticism - Doom Metal band (Trope Codifier for the funeral doom subgenre) * Circle and Pharoah Overlord - Experimental rock bands (the latter began as an offshoot of the former). * Aki Kaurismäki - Film director, makes Jim Jarmusch-esque movies. * Alvar Aalto - Influential architect and designer. * Linus Torvalds - Open-source OS kernel developer. * Elias Lönnrot - Philologist and creator of The Kalevala. * Aleksis Kivi - The Finnish national author responsible for the first Finnish-language novel, Seven Brothers. * Joosa Riekkinen - Creator of the computer game Liero. * Rovio - Makers of Angry Birds. * Remedy Entertainment - Software developers, creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake. * Bugbear Entertainment - Another software developer, focused on racing games. Also a noted expeditor and ethnoscientist. * Simo Häyhä - Sniper during the Winter War and all-round badass, nicknamed "White Death" * Lauri Törni/Larry Thorne - A Finnish officer and a legendary soldier during World War II. He is most famous for serving as a military officer in three different armies: He left the Finnish Army after the end of the Continuation War in 1944 and joined the German Waffen-SS so he could keep fighting the Soviets, then eventually made his way to the United States after the end of World War II and joined the U.S. Army in 1954 under the name of Larry Thorne. He was reported MIA in Vietnam while serving as an officer in the Green Berets; there is a rumor that he inspired the John Wayne feature of the same name. The guy literally just divorces and remarries Mervi. Seriously, he'll soon probably have 20 divorces with that woman. Also received some international press attention after he was sentenced to prison after the attempted murder of a friend while drunk and after losing in finger-wrestling. The press attention was because he is an olympic gold winner. * Paavo Nurmi - Long-distance runner (9 time Olympic gold medalist between 1920 & 1924), and incidentally, the original Flying Finn. * Jari Kurri - Hockey great who played alongside Wayne Gretzky on the powerful Edmonton Oilers during the 80s, and until now, the only Finn in the Hockey Hall of Fame. * Teemu Selänne - Another hockey great who will most likely be the second Finn inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Also known as the "Finnish Flash". * Sami Hyypiä - Football (proper football) player, central defender and captain for Liverpool FC for ten years. Now turns out for Leverkusen in Germany in what Liverpool fans consider a great mistake. * Jari Litmanen - One of the first Finns to achieve great success and recognition in football. This amendment has several times been the victim of communist propaganda but thanks to hard working groups such as the NKA (National Knife Association), the amendment has stayed unchanged for hundreds of years. The fact that there are over 50,000 knife related deaths in Finland every year is not in any way connected to the liberal knife laws but are instead the result of alcohol and atheism.

In the 21st century, the key features of Finland's modern welfare state are a high standard of education, equality promotion, and national social security system; currently challenged by an aging population and the fluctuations of an export-driven economy. Nevertheless, in 1809 Finland was incorporated into the Russian Empire as the autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland. In 1906, Finland became the second nation in the world to give the right to vote to all adult citizens and the first in the world to give full suffrage to all adult citizens.

As a land featuring Phineas and Ferb, you may find hidden triangles scattering everywhere. For example, you can count like 500 in the smallest gift shop itself. Phineas's triangle is EVERYWHERE. As a lamp, or a food cart, or maybe cars inside rides. Not to mention the others, except Irving, which only features himself in the Phineas and Ferb Hall of Fame ride. It is actually narrated by Phineas (yay), but Irving Animatronic robots can be seen making appearances on mostly Ferb exhibits. Ok, now for the real deal. (NOTE:The park is a complete copy from Disneyland, and it was even operated under Disneyland management)
