  • Nidoking was used in Giovanni's battle against Red.
  • Cloyster was used in the aftermath of Red's fight against the two Magmar, in which it froze the two in ice before mercilessly shattering them into pieces.

  • Ursaring was captured by Silver through the use of one of Kurt's Heavy Balls. It has been notably used by Silver to escort Giovanni to a safe location during the FireRed and LeafGreen chapter. However, since Giovanni disappeared as of the HeartGold and Soul Silver Chapter, it too has not been seen since.
  • Nidoqueen was used in Giovanni's battle against Red, before being incapacitated by Pika's Thunderbolt.
