With the introduction of Dawnport in Updates/10.55, the Island of Destiny rarely gets visitors anymore since only very few players choose to reach main the traditional way (through Rookgaard). Players who have mastered Rookgaard (obtained level 8) can still ask The Oracle to visit the Island of Destiny. NPCs await those eager to venture in the mainland, and will give general information on vocations before they decide.

  • The Island of Destiny was introduced in Update 8.2, it is an island designed as a place for new players to decide and get use to their chosen vocations. Players who have mastered Rookgaard (obtained level 8) can ask The Oracle to visit the Island of Destiny, NPCs await those eager to venture in the mainland, and will give general information on vocations before they decide. After deciding which vocation suits them best, they gain the Light spell and can enter a vocation-specific dungeon to test their newly acquired vocation. In the dungeons they will also find Equipment to start their mainland adventure off. There is also an everlasting Intense Healing rune on a table in the Druids' house, which is usable by all vocations as often as they want. Some people throw items on the floor of the isle, you can make lootbags or pick valuable items like Bows, Bear Paws and Wolf Paws that you can sell for good cash when you go to main. There's really no need to take your armor and weapons from Rookgaard to the Island of Destiny because you receive better armor and weapons once you choose your vocation from the chests in the vocation room. You can sell your armor and weapons before you leave Rookgaard to make extra cash. If players reach level 9 on the isle, they will get the message "Congratulations to level 9! You should talk to Captain Kurt and head to the mainland now." and all the dungeons will become inaccessible, forcing you to leave the isle. If they choose not to leave, they will receive another message 5 minutes later, "Please leave this dungeon now. Only players below level 9 may hunt here.", If they wait 5 more minutes, they will be teleported out of the dungeon and receive the message "You are ready for the mainland now. Talk to Captain Kurt and choose a city where you'd like to live in.". PVP (Player Vs. Player) is possible in the Island's dungeons, so watch out!

Players who have mastered Rookgaard (obtained level 8) can still ask The Oracle to visit the Island of Destiny. NPCs await those eager to venture in the mainland, and will give general information on vocations before they decide. The Festival of Initiates was added with Update 9.8 to give players a chance to try out combat skills used by each vocation so they can better decide which one to choose. Players can participate in the Festival, or just walk through the tents ignoring them, or ask any NPC "skip tutorial". Players then had to go to one of the four buildings and talk to the NPC there to get a vocation. After deciding which vocation suits them best, they gained the Light, Light Healing/Wound Cleansing, and Apprentice's Strike (for mages) spells, and can enter a vocation-specific dungeon to test their newly acquired vocation. In the dungeons they would also find Equipment to start off their mainland adventure. There is also an everlasting Intense Healing Rune on a table in the Druids' house, which is usable by all vocations as often as they want. There's really no need to take your armor and weapons from Rookgaard to the Island of Destiny because you receive better armor and weapons once you choose your vocation from the chests in the vocation room. You can sell your armor and weapons before you leave Rookgaard to make extra cash. If players die so that they are downgraded to level 5, they will get rooked just as if on mainland. If players reach level 10 on the isle, they will get the message Congratulations to level 10! You should talk to Captain Kurt and head to the mainland now. and all the dungeons will become inaccessible, forcing you to leave the isle. If they choose not to leave, they will receive another message 5 minutes later, Please leave this dungeon now. Only players below level 10 may hunt here., If they wait 5 more minutes, they will be teleported out of the dungeon and receive the message You are ready for the mainland now. Talk to Captain Kurt and choose a city where you'd like to live in.. Players should keep in mind that they cannot take more than 2000 gold with them. 1000 gold on their bank accounts and 1000 gold in their backpacks. If you have more than 1000 gold in your backpack, Captain Kurt won't ship you to the mainland. Near Captain Kurt, you can open a Chest (Quest) to obtain an Adventurer's Stone and Adventurers' Guild (Book). PvP (Player vs Player) is possible in the Island's dungeons, so watch out!
