  • [Source] Real name Aïk, lived in Kerack and was a young adept of magic, learning under the watchful eye of Lytta Neyd. She has smoothly slicked hair. Her Pseudonym – Mozaïk came from the markings on her skin, where the disease she had before entering the magical academy had left traces in the pattern of a mosaic. At first, she was mocked by her fellow adepts at Aretuza, but in time became fond of the nickname, adopting it as her own name.

Geralt had flirted with her on numerous occasions so he could annoy Lytta, which later resulted in Lytta breaking Mozaïk’s hand out of pure jealousy. After the storm haunting Kerack, she stayed with Geralt against the wishes of her mentor. She had an affair with Geralt, but the relationship did not last long. In Geralt’s farewell letter, he asked of her to return to her teacher. She did return, but Lytta has used every opportunity to remind her of that fact. That can be seen in the epilogue of the novel “Sezon Burz” where Lytta and Yennefer are sitting in Lytta’s garden and out of spite, Lytta is forcing Mozaïk to talk about her affair.
