Gil is taken to the Sneaky Gate on his way to Mamma Gkika's, and the group meets Vole. Strinbeck and Oublenmach discuss whether the timing of Zola's appearance was appropriate. End of episode. Return to control room. Tech, Kaja, and Phil leave in an escape pod. Agatha, Krosp, and Zeetha enter the area the escape pod leaves from. Zola explains why she arrived earlier than expected because of "another Heterodyne girl", and that the new plan is to kill the castle. Rumors about the battle and a female Heterodyne heir spread through Mechanicsburg. Gil concludes Zola may try to kill the castle. Vole says that wouldn't be accepted as proof she was a Heterodyne. Ferretina and Othar leave. Agatha wake up Jorf, who is confused about his "lady friend". Gil explains to Klaus that he thinks the plan behind the impostor is to emulate the Storm King legend. A soldier recounts the battle with Master Payne's Circus of Adventure for Phil. Deeper in the castle, Wilhelm reports her actions to Tiktoffen—he giver her ten points, and the rebukes her for talking about her point total. Agatha, without glasses. with long flowing hair, and wearing a gown, pours a cup of coffee. Gil fights assassins, and Vole disarms one of the assassins. Agatha Paper Doll Agatha is shown the Heterodyne family crypt. Agatha is thrilled to see the new battle clanks. Agatha takes out Vole with coffee and a wrench. Agatha teases Krosp with a string. Agatha works on the coffee engine, Heterodyning. Arella tells Carson about the rumors. Carson explains that suppliers can easily walk in the castle, but first Agatha needs to learn what to do in the castle. Carson connects to the Throne. Carson describes the aftermath of the attack. Carson describes the attack by The Other. Carson describes the day after the attack. Carson mulls the rumors and takes a nap. Carson talks about the Baron's arrival. Baron loaded on airship, airship hit, Higgs finds crew dead. Carson describes official Town Council and the shadow government. Agatha de-arms a Lapinemoth and then finds Ferretina and an unconscious Jorf Oxclonker. Wooster asks for directions to the hospital from Carson. After they pass, Carson notices the gargoyle has changed positions. Gil realizes he needs to leave to protect the city. Othar tries to convince the others to join him to help the town of Zoggletonk. Agatha's voice partially convinces the castle, but it is glad she is a spark. The clank crumbles to the ground. Everyone is shocked, Agatha is excited. Agatha gives more orders. She returns the book to Van, having corrected the book and deduced he was the author. He offends Herr Mitrant by touching his tools, then interests him in her plans. Agatha builds a device to help them disguise themselves as Lapinemoths. Ferretina refers to the "Weasel Queen" in the third person. The group are idiots and don't figure out who she really is. Vole is explained to be not-a-Jäger. Vole reports on the second female Heterodyne. Ferretina figures out the group doesn't know she is the cause of the disappearances. The castle has a hard time believing the Heterodyne heir is female. Agatha says Gil isn't her boyfriend, then asks Zeetha to make sure he is okay. Gil and Sun see the pink airship. A fake nurse enters to kill Klaus, Gil kills her using his lightning staff. Gil details his fathers injuries, and where the Heterodyne girls are. Othar pledges to destroy Ferretina. Ferretina orders her Lapinemoths to attack, then decides to kill him herself. Klaus explains Agatha is The Other and dangerous, and is surprised and pleased to hear Gil had sent Vole to get her. Ferretina offers Othar a drink in her hidden subterranean lair. Carson "explains" that it's not safe to send Agatha in through the front door of the castle, so he's going to send her in through the front door. Agatha enters the castle through the Prisoner's Gate. Gil confronts the clanks. The general "takes command of the empire". Gil objects. Zola explains the castle was damaged, and that help is on the way. Agatha, stimulated by coffee, gathers information about Van's broken coffee engine. She picks up and reads a book . The General and Captain watch the town, and Gil comes out of the door carrying his lightning staff. Carson watching Agatha, then everyone watching overview of Zola's arrival. Zola stands on the plinth of the Mechanicsburg Heterodyne Memorial Statue to speak to the crowd. Carson discusses the usual bogus Heterodyne heirs, and how Agatha and Zola are unusual. Othar agrees to escort Ferretina to her home, while the rest plan to take the unconscious Jorf Oxclonker to the village. A Lapinemoth attacks Zeetha, gets bwonged with a shovel, decides to eat Agatha instead. Diamant agrees to get Agatha into the castle, and Agatha decides to go alone. Agatha on the Prisoner Transport vehicle, dressing for her entrance. Ferretina explains how she is lonely and not a monster. Soldiers try to capture Agatha, but townsfolk intervene. Agatha plans to head for the castle. Carson explains the mentality of citizens of Mechanicsburg. Krosp gets a dead rat from a boy. Agatha reveals herself to Carson, who introduces himself. Herr Vikel uses a device to destroy/transport members of the Black Squad. Agatha notices that the power sources for Gil's lightning staff are exploding. Agatha presents the finished coffee engine with all the bells and whistles. Carson explains why a fake Heterodyne Heir can be trouble. Carson explains the naming and death of Klaus Barry Heterodyne. Gil and Sun discuss expected assassination attempts. Gil ponders the airship. The castle explains that control is impossible because the primary castle identity is isolated and the secondary units kill anyone that tries to restore control. Higgs fights toward the evacuation gigs, finds Baron. Flashback continued: Baron negotiates with the castle about repairs. From the wall, Agatha is worried about Gil, but embarrassed that she admitted it. Discussing breaking up the circus after humiliating the Baron. Discussing the Baron's defeat. Arella convinces Carson the heir is different this time. Gil arriving at the Great Hospital at Mechanicsburg. Snapper reports on a Heterodyne in the castle, and Tiktoffen is surprised to learn it is Zola. Higgs drags Baron. DuPree breaks Higgs' arm, Higgs breaks DuPree's jaw. All enter gig. First half of double picture: The inner side of the wall of Mechanicsburg, and houses and factories. A Torchman calmly resting on a lamp. Agatha collapses from running. Zola gives Agatha "A gold coin with her picture ... and the Heterodyne Sigil". Zola enters. Carson talks to Agatha. Gil notices that his lightning staff is no longer powered and offers surrender terms to soldiers. The highest ranking officer surviving pulls a knife on Gil, and gets a knife in his head from Dimo. Agatha builds a "combination mechanical taxidermist and tailor" to build disguises. Diament shows up, says the Heterodynes are all dead, and get attacked by the throne. Klaus watches. Soldiers order the militia to the walls. The clank soldiers can't seem to hit Gil. Carson extricates himself from the castle, and tells Agatha of an army advancing on the Black Gate. Vole reports his failure to capture Agatha, and Gil rebukes him. Gil is carrying his lightning staff. Agatha explains to the Fashion Clank why it was made. Agatha starts to take a sip of coffee. Van takes the cup to try it first.

abstract	The graphic novels in the canon consist of fifteen in print, a sixteenth volume complete and available and a seventeenth volume in progress on the web. Starting with the fourteenth volume, the story has now entered Act 2 and the volume numbers have started over at one. Volumes in Act 2 will be identified in the chronology by the act number, a dash, and then the volume number; for example, Act 2, Volume 1 will be numbered 2-1. Eventually, the volumes in the first part, Act 1, will be renumbered to match. The chronology pages describe the comics to assist scholars in finding the page on which something occurred. For each comic, the chronology pages identify the characters that appear, actions taken, significant quotes, and other notes. Section titles are from the canon unless otherwise noted.
