  • Nathan Robinson (1828 - 9 August 1902) was a licensed victualler and politician active in the St Pancras area. Born in Holt, Norfolk, he was the son of a shoemaker. He moved to Sheffield, Yorkshire, where he married. By 1871 he was living in St Pancras and working as a "commission agent". By 1881 he was the proprietor of the Victoria Hotel in the Euston Road. A poor law guardian and member of the Metropolitan Asylums Board and of the St Pancras Vestry, he was elected to the London County Council at its first election in 1889 as a Progressive Party councillor representing St Pancras East. He held the seat until his death when he was also an alderman on St Pancras Borough Council, chairman of the St Pancras Board of Guardians and a magistrate.
