This incarnation of the Sith relied mostly on treachery and stealth tactics to achieve their goals. After the Order's leader, Darth Sidious was uncovered by the Jedi Order to be the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, the Order joined with the Confederacy of Independent Systems to form the Sith Confederacy. The Order was then replaced by the New Sith Order in 4 ABY, which broke the "Rule of Two" set up 1,000 years prior.
