- Borath was a Vorta who oversaw a mental simulation in which Benjamin Sisko, Jadzia Dax, Julian Bashir and T'Rul were placed in 2371. In the simulation, Borath cast himself as a Founder of the Dominion, who negotiated a peace treaty with Admiral Alynna Nechayev. Borath was surprised to see the lengths that Sisko and his crew were willing to go to in order to stop the Dominion, including risking their lives and careers to destroy the Bajoran wormhole. Borath was ordered by the Female Changeling to discontinue the experiment at Odo's insistence. (DS9 episode & novelization: The Search)

Zu diesem Zweck wollen sie in der Simulation das bajoranische Wurmloch zum Kollaps bringen. Borath muss das Experiment jedoch auf Anweisung der Gründerin beenden, da Odo dahinterkommt, was Borath tut. (DS9: ) Borath wurde von Dennis Christopher gespielt und von Wolfgang Ziffer synchronisiert. In der deutschsprachigen Synchronfassung wird er auch Boris und Boras genannt.
