Although his long list of deeds entitles him to a noble status far above his position as a mere patrician, Nestor has repeatedly refused offers of promotion or adoption into more prestigious houses; stating quite flatly that he despises the politicking of higher nobility. In modern days, he has settled down in the town of Salona, where he serves as court mage to the local baron, Albus Corvus Decimus, leaving only to fulfill his duties on the Legionary Council. He cites the temperate weather and beautiful scenery as his reasons for doing so.
