  • Mike Ford is an American wrestler
  • Mike Ford (born April 13, 1970 in Morristown, Tennessee) is the NASCAR Nextel Cup crew chief for the #11 FedEx Toyota Camry currently driven by Denny Hamlin. The car is owned by J. D. Gibbs and operated by Joe Gibbs Racing.
  • Selected by Detroit Red Wings 8th round (#122) in 1972 NHL Amateur Draft
  • Holding the rank of Commander, he served as commanding officer of the destroyer HMS Vengeance, on anti-piracy duty in the Silesian Confederacy from 1862 to 1865 PD. He and his crew seized a total of twelve prizes over that period, and a number of his junior officers went on to have distinguished careers. Commander Ford himself, however, ran afoul of the Navy's traditional patronage system; after being transferred to a staff position, he was twice passed up for promotion for what he considered to be political reasons. He retired from the service in 1873 PD, having only staying in long enough to draw a pension.

The book made it to the Manticoran Best Sellers list, making him somewhat known as someone willing to criticize the Navy; it was also optioned for a holo movie which was never made. Ford also gained minor literary note as a poet. He also used his prize money to start an insurance company that specialized in retirement and disability supplemental income bonds to Naval personnel and their families and dependants. (JIR1)
