  • Furaribi
rdfs:comment
  • Furaribi, or “aimless flame,” were Rokugani souls trapped or blocked in the mortal world. They appeared as floating balls of purple fire that dragged long tails of light as they moved, lingering in places where their bodies died. The fire of the Furaribi burned the spirit of those who touched the creature, and the victim would waste away and die of illness. Shugenja believed the Furaribi was not truly the soul of a dead person, but merely a sort of lingering after-image of that soul.
