- Ado is a character from the Kirby series with human like qualities, the only one of that type who lives on Pop Star. She's a painter and first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 3, where her appears as the boss of level 4. During the fight, she'll paint four different bosses that'll come to life and fight the pink protagonist Kirby, including Ice Dragon, Sweet Stuff, Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright, and Kracko. Once she defeated all of those bosses, Kirby would then be required to take on Ado. This, however, is not a chore, as one hit will take Ado down.

Diese sind jedoch nicht ganz so stark wie im Vorgänger und beherrschen nur einen bis zwei Angriffe. Sie werden von Ado immer in dieser Reihenfolge gezeichnet: 1.

* Kracko Nachdem sie alle besiegt wurden, springt Ado wütend von seiner Staffelei und versucht Kirby selbst anzugreifen, indem er auf ihn zu rennt und dabei wie wild mit seinem Pinsel umherfuchtelt. Hier reicht ein einfacher Luftstoß oder Rutschangriff aus um ihn außer Gefecht zu setzen. Hat man zudem alle Herzsterne gesammelt, wird Ado von Dark Matters Kontrolle befreit und zeichnet Kirby immer ein freundliches und vor allem harmloses Bild, wenn man ihn erneut besucht. Im Boss-Marathon von Kirby's Dream Land 3 sieht Ado's Arena viel grauer und düsterer aus. Das letzte Mal sieht man Ado am Ende des Abspanns, wo er in großen und bunten Buchstaben das Wort "End" in die Ecke des Bildschirms malt.

Most of the things she paints are very simplistic, but are still recognizable enemies from Kirby's past. All of things she paints during the battle are simply various bosses from Kirby's Dream Land 2. She is under the guise of Dark Matter and must be freed from its control after her defeat. Because Ado paints so many foes during the fight, she is perceived as one of the most arduous and time-consuming bosses of the game. As such, Ado is fought late into the game. Ado is best known for her uncanny resemblance to Adeleine, another green-clad artist who teams up with Kirby in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. This similarity has spurned endless debate among fans. Either way, neither Ado nor Adeleine have appeared since they debuted in their respective games. This may have been caused by the widespread controversy surrounding the two of them, and may have even been enacted to avoid further confusion.
