After the death of Dooku, X'Doc knew that he would be next, so fled to the small number of remaining Providence ships which he knew were planning an escape. He arrived to find a small army of battle droids, and soon after they left. One ship, however, left much later than the others, and X'Doc was going to go and check what was happening, but it soon followed after his ship. When they arrived, the droids on board the ships set up a new government which X'Doc became an important member of. He became part of the parliament and a commander of the armies, as well as the leader of their own order, being the force-sensitive with the best training. Many of the small number of organics which the droids had brought joined his order, even non-force-sensitive ones, who only joined to learn lightsabre combat. He abolished the rule of two for this order. After many years of training new recruits, X'Doc left the academy, and the Droid Confederacy to live as a hermit. Eventually, he was discovered by the Jedi who sent a Jedi Knight to kill him, however X'Doc easily overpowered the Jedi and killed him. The Jedi then sent a master and apprentice, who managed to kill X'Doc between them. Years later, the order which X'Doc had started held a memorial for him, and managed to revive his force ghost, which stayed on as a teacher for many more years.
