Early life
Brendan Abercrombie was born in Selkirk to a farming family. Bored of his life he left home when he was in his teens and became a mercenary. He used the money he got from his various deed to buy himself a sword and trained with it night and day soon becoming an expert and studying melee weaponry.
Zodiac twelve
Years later he was aproached by a messanger on behalf of Zhuang Shen a notorious Chinese gangster. He offered Bredan $100,000 if he could try out an experimental supersoldier serum on him. Although somewhat nervous at first he quickly agreed, the large amount of money was too much for him to pass up. He met with eleven other mercenaries at the lab and they were all soon given the experimental serum. It worked butalso gave them unusual apperances as well, with Brendan looking like an anthromorphic ram. Suprisingly enough he liked his new form. A short while later another person who had been experimented on, now known as Draco offered the others to join a team that he was founding known as the Zodiac Twelve. What they didn't know however was that is was really Zhuang Shen's idea, he was using them so that he could use them in various crimes and had told Draco to tell the others and make it seem like it was his own plan.
Offbeats encounter
However when they attempted to rob a bank they were suddenly attacked by the Offbeats who were in China after dealing with a Godzilla related incidence and had decided to travel around Asia for a while. However they were not prepared for the attack and were beaten by the Zodiac twelve. The Zodiac twelve all became cocky after their win and after running into the Offbeats again agreed to challenge them in a rematch. However the Offbeats were prepared this time and swiftly dealt with the Zodiac Twelve with C.A.B. taking on the combined force of both Ramsgate and Draco. However Zhuan Shen's goons quickly busted the Zodiac twelve out of prison and Shen secretly began funding the Zodiac Twelve. Ramsgate is good friends with Serpent but despises Rat-Man who he has a strong rivalry with. He mentions in passing that he sculpts in his spare time.
