  • Alan picks Jake up from Judith's only to find out that she wants Alan to look after him for three consecutive months. Charlie asks Jake why this is, and he tells the two that she and Herb (have been fighting a lot. This makes Alan happy because Judith may fail at another marriage. Jake skips school the next day and staples himself. Charlie takes Jake to his doctor, which happens to be Herb. Herb later tells Charlie that he stood up for himself against Judith and got kicked out of the house. He doesn't mind, though, as he now considers himself a single man, and would like to tag along with Charlie some nights. Charlie reluctantly accepts. They go to a bar and Herb manages to humiliate Charlie in front of two potential dates. Alan goes to console Judith who is seen crying. Alan tries to encourage Judith and they end up making out. They then have sex, and Judith says that she'll never let him go. This worries Alan. Alan comes home the next day and finds Herb passed out in his bedroom, and Jake having his hand glued to his head. He explains to Charlie that he has stumbled into "never-ever-land".
