The arena itself went through many modifications since it was inaugurated in 241 BBY. The arena was built into the heart of the capital city of Dalnatos, to a location where most citizens could reach it. The arena was built for two combatants, with only two entrances to the fighting ground. The fighting ground was 50 meters long and 20 meters in width, providing enough space for both combatants to move around during the fight and be seen by every individual in the fee-paying audience. The stadium could house an attendance of maximum 35,000, but thousands of others could observe the fight indirectly by dozens of cameras that aired the duel. The fights are aired in a local channel of HoloNet. The structure was symmetrical, having a preparation room and a medical room. A large elevator was attached to the preparation room that pulled up the combatant to the arena. The audience sector had a special sector for the incumbent proprietor and VIP visitors. It was in this sector where the incumbent Hutt proprietor made a speech before the final duel.
