| abstract | - Dalnatos was a rocky planet with little oases spread across the planet surface. The animals living outside Dalnatosian cities were mostly tridactyl predators, providing a nice opportunity for the competitors to practice their combat skills between sessions. Millions of years ago, Dalnatos was an empty desert, but the planet gradually diverged from the main sun, setting up a more habitable environment. The planet's surface was still covered with sand, though. Early Dalnatosians worked on putting sand to domestic use, eventually finding out a way to use their indispensable resources of sand to generate energy. There were at least a dozen notable green movements against using the environment for such purposes, but all failed to achieve a breakthrough.
