  • Nazihah Alhabi has the misfortune to be a young widow with a newborn as "Setup" unfolds. Her husband, Amir Alhabi, was the victim whose case precipitated the events of this two-parter, a Syrian-American with a background as a nuclear physicist. He was being set up as a scapegoat by a terrorist cell who wanted a plausible Middle-Eastern mastermind for their bomb plot. Nazihah's woes only begin with his death, however, as DHS Agent Mark Fallon decides to play a severe game of "bad cop, good cop" by threatening to take her baby away, and waiting for Beckett to step in.

Later still, the plotters kidnap her baby and force her to drive their "dirty bomb" into New York, hoping to salvage their plan by her coerced involvement. Thankfully, Castle and Beckett are able to intercept her before she could reach her destination, informing that they rescued her baby and arrested the men responsible.
